$200 gift card: How would you use it

Okay, so I had a deal with the Disney Chase Visa that if I spent $500 on it, I would get a $200 gift card. I now have it and am taking it to WDW next week. How would you use it?

I'm thinking I would start off reserving it for F&W booths and allow all other incidentals to hit my MB for charges to my room.

The online conditions are a $100 statement credit. I think I would need to get another offer in the mail from Disney for the $200 gift card.

$200 gift card offer is only good if you haven't received an offer in the last 2 years. I had to check the date on my last Chase offer first. Got my gift card!

The answer to your question depends on how you view the gift card. Is it something you factored into budgeting for your trip, or is it an extra?

If the former, it doesn't really matter what it's used for, just pay for things you'd be paying for regardless until it runs out.

If the latter, and it's an extra or "bonus" money, then splurge on something you wouldn't normally purchase. An extra fancy meal, a high-end collectible souvenir, a behind-the-scenes tour, etc.

Well, it could be both. But since I'm going during the last full week of the F&W festival, my first inclination is to use it for the F&W booths. And for any must-have souvenirs. So, you could say that the F&W booths are factored into my budgeting and anything left on it would be extra for souvenirs.

I'd put it towards a tour that I'd otherwise miss out on. Or splurge on a gift for myself that I would avoid buying because of the expense.

I would use it other at food and wine, or as a deposit towards a future trip. That or towards your room for your upcoming trip. But food and wine would be my first choice

I also have a $200 gift card to use. This was an incentive to book early in the UK, and something I have to remember to pick up at the airport upon arrival (hope I won't be so excited I forget lol!). Have free dining so not needed for food, thought I would use for a shop in World of Disney, after all I HAVE to spend it, no use to me back in the UK!

I could definitely find something in Mouse Gear to spend it on. Actually...I really want to buy the white dinner plates that have the black Mickey in the middle. I think they're like $12.95 per plate.
