Hey all when ever I need info on WDW I come here, but found this on another web site. It says as of today some of the walls were to be taken down? Anyone make it over to see anything?

The author also says that the North and East portions of the hub walls will be down...
Well, the east portions are down, pictures of the area can be seen over at the disboards.

Wow, its looks so barren. They even took out the little bronze statues. Wonder if they are on ebay yet.....

I for one, am not too thrilled with the hub makeover....

I agree. I'm not thrilled with it either. But it's hard to imagine what it will look like without all the other walls down.

As for the 20k stuff, I would love to see pics of those walls down, if anyone has them

I plan on going over to Epcot and MK tomorrow, so if I remember to bring my camera with me, I'll try to get some pics in case no one else does before then.

I am happy the walls are coming down, my family will be down here in less than 24 hours and some people in the party has never even seen the Disney.

While I am not thrilled with the hub makeover, seeing the walls are disappearing has completely made my night. I had finally accepted and was fine with my niece seeing the walls next week during her first trip, but this feels like a blessing. Maybe she won't have to. So thank you for this news!

I just got home from the MK:

The portion of The Hub that is open looks great.......and it should improve crowd flow and provide better viewing for the parades, the castle shows, and Wishes.

The best thing they did was provide more standing room in front of the castle, which will allow more people to get a better view of the castle shows.

A small portion of walls have been removed from the 20K area.....it is just a landscaped little hill......it looks nice.

I dont believe anything about the 20k lagoon yet until i see pics of it.

Choose to believe what you want to believe.

I can't imagine a great many of us regulars heading to the parks this weekend with all of the holiday crowds.
