My first question:
Who is probably the rarest character to see walking around and signing autographs?
My second question:
Do they send out Brer Bear when Splash Mountain breaks down to cheer up passengers or something? Because the ride broke down when I was in line and then I saw Brer Bear in one of the logs that was stalled from the break-down.

I guess you were just lucky with Breb Bear...

Now, I may be wrong, but I've never seen Wendy, the Lost Boys, Tick-Tock, anyone from Toy Story or Bug's Life, Mowgli, the nephews, Mary Poppins... And we all know they're "possible". In fact, I remember seeing by the Character Zoo in the MK tunnel several posts about different characters, telling how CMsshould behave and interact if impersonating that character, and it also had an example of the character's autograph. ANd there was one for Tick-Tock! :hammer: I'd really like to see him around the park... I don't know why Disney replaced him with that copycat octopus... :brick:

I think the rarest I have ever seen was Sleeping Beauty. as for if they send out brer bear I think he and brer fox are often out there .. but we have never seen brer rabbit ..and I wish we could because my youngest granddaughter loves him so much .. when she was 6 she would call him her "honey" and say "hi honey" every time she saw him in splash mountian :) We have seen Mary Poppins and whats his face ..lol dont know why I cant think of his name right now . Seen peter pan too ..but never any of the others. Piglet use to be hard to find, I remember the girls asking for him one time at the Crystal Palace and pooh told them piglet was too shy :)

I would say Donald Duck (my sons favorite). Very hard guy to find, the main reason we eat breakfast at Restarauntasaurus in AK is to see Donald.

I have a picture of all 7 dwarfs together with SB, saw them one night in World Showcase. Made for some great pics.

I have seen BBear and Fox many times near the exit to SM.

I'm not sure what his name is, but it is a duck that is dressed like a pilot, it might be from Talespin or something. Anyway, the last time I was down there I had my pic taken with him. And afterwards the cm who escorts him around and I both noticed that he forgot to zip up his zipper that was on the front of the trousers that he wears. We both started laughing hysterically. Then she whispered to him what we were laughing about and he turned around and zipped it up. Nobody else had a clue what he was doing.

Launchpad McQuack wasn't in Talespin, he's in Darkwing Duck and Ducktales. I think one of the hardest characters to find would be Brer Rabbit and the Penguins from Mary Poppins. I used to say Robin Hood but now he's in the 100 yrs parade. Disney has gotten alot better about unknown characters being around more frequently. It wouldn't be a Disney trip for me without meeting with characters.:D

I would say the one I have seen the least is Brer Rabbit. He is in the new parade at the animal kingdom, but that is the only time I have seen him. Also, as mentioned above the only time I have seen Wendy and The Lost Boys is in the new parade at the Magic Kingdom.

Yeah, Talespin had Baloo and King Louie and Kit Cloudkicker and Rebecca and Sher Kahn. It was the Jungle Book crew. Of course there may have been an episode or something with Launchpad in it but I don't know.:veryconfu

No you're absolutely right. Launchpad McQuack was in Ducktales and then in Darkwing Duck. I don't ever recall him making an appearance on Tale Spin. Perhaps Monorail 256 is confused because Launchpad was a pilot and the Show Tale Spin had to do with flying and planes ect...

Those 3 shows have got to be my fav animated shows ever and I still watch them to this day on Toon Disney so I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about. ;)

the rarest character I've seen is Goliath (from Gargoyles). I saw him in the halloween party. As for Br'er Bear, he's out normally every day at Splash

Mary Poppins used to be a regular along with Winnie the Pooh´s family at the UK Pavillion. I also saw Peter Pan and Hook there and the Alice in Wonderland family.

The rarest character that I have ever seen is Jiminy Cricket, I rember working Earth Day with him last year at DAK. That was the only time that I saw him in the 6 months that I was there!

I have seen Jiminy a few times lately, in the Stars and Motor Cars parade.

I have a picture of the 1st time I ever saw him, taken durring the 15th Aniversary parade back in 1987.
