EXACTLY, what you need to bring bags for anyway? leave it at the hotel, bring some cash and that's it. You walk right through. I saw people with duffel bags and huge hiking backpacks, what is the point of that, really no need.

I bring my bag so I can carry my pins, and things I buy in the park. I also carry walkie talkies, the camera, and a couple of other things in there. It gets heavy sometimes though

1. I usually take my camera. I put in in my backpack.

2. I was there during the summer. There's a great chance of rain every day. I took a poncho and put it in my backpack.

3. If you're there during Nov-Jan months, it can get chilly at night. Most nights a light jacket is needed. I didn't want to go back and get it from car/apartment, wear it all day, or tie it around my waist. I put it in my backpack.

4. I bought merchandise (mostly pins) from all over the park. I didn't stay in the resorts, I had an apartment nearby. I didn't want to go put it in my car or take it back to my apartment. I put my purchases in my backpack.

5. I often wore shorts that didn't have any pockets when I planned on going on Splash or Kali. I put my wallet and keys in ziplock bags to keep them from getting wet.

6. Some people have medications that they must take. Others have inhalers. During the fires this past summer, I took my inhaler to the parks. It wasn't very comfortable to cram in my pockets with keys and wallets.

There are plenty of reasons for taking a BAG into the parks. Not multiple bags or huge bags, but a small regular backpack.

I always take a small backpack. I use it for my camera, video camera, umrella, jacket and anything I buy while I'm there. Small enough not to get in the way while riding the rides.

Depends...

It really depends on who you get. If you see an old woman, don't go to her! At MK a few weeks ago, one old woman got very personal with my dad. My dad said to me after we walked through "I thought she was gonna make me stand naked there for a minute". Really though, some just look and let you pass, others make you empty your bag.

I was able to get in with my chain wallet (which was something i normally COULDNT do before 9/11)..and my friend got in with his collar (no matter how i say that..its not going to sound good)...

It must be my puppy dog eyes...I can do no wrong ;)

NowInc, I got in with more jewlry that you both. I got in with...

  • Two collars, one with 6 Inch spikes, one with rings
  • 4 necklaces, one made of safety pins (BIG ONES)
  • A spiked bracelet
  • A ringed bracelet
  • A studded bracelet
  • Another 8 ring bracelelt
  • Rubber bracelets
  • 3 wallet chains (each over 40 inches long)
  • 5 rings
  • I have these things that go on your arms that are like thorns (like a Jesus crown for your arms with really sharp thorns).

I made it past security with all that and a hoodie and camera with 3 rolls of film. I was wearing a fishnet shirt with my big baggy pants, huge at the bottom. More jewlery than you and your friend :D. - The WeirdOne :D

P.S. - Beat That NowInc.

I had one at MGM who made me empty the camera bag AND take the false bottom out of it to check...
