Curious as ever, but what restaurant do you think is not worthy of two credits? On our last visit we were looking at the menu outside Brown Derby in HS when this family of maybe five or six came out and said to us, " don't waste your time ".We didnt have reservations anyway just being nosey.

Brown Derby

We gave the Brown Derby two separate tries....and in the event they were a fluke we tried a third time...over a 5 year period and they were all horrible experiences...We'll never go back...they only reason we use to go was for priority seating for Fantasmic...thank goodness they opened up Mama Melrose and Hollywood and Vine.

Our food was ALWAYS over cooked and too much salt. To quote my husband "how can you screw up a filet"..

Brown Derby without a doubt! I am beginning to think Le Cellier is not worth the 2 credits. From what my family tells me there are other places in the World to get a fillet worthy of 2 credits with better ambiance.

In The Minority.

Yeh,I agree about Le Cellier, not a bad experience, just not a memorable one.My fillet steak at Jikos was miles ahead,as was the ambiance.Altho my ADRS are now booked, maybe on our next visit we will try Shulas for that ultimate piece of beef.

Crush Dude!

Back from WDW!Counting down to DLP in November!
Brown Derby has gone through changes since last Fall/Winter and is now getting its act together!

Le Cellier, i LOVE! But when i can get what i want at lunch for 1 credit i wont be doing dinner there!

CRT is definately the biggest rip! 2 credits for average food with princesses? I get great food with proncesses at Akershus for 1 credit thanks very much!

In a word, none.

Let me explain. To be "worth" two credits, it should be "worth" two meals at a "regular" place.

Look at it this way, a regular table service dinner is worth about $45 give or take (at WDW prices). So to be worth it, a two credit dinner would have to be "worth" about $90 (again in WDW prices)

Now some two credit places are in the $60 - $70 range maybe, but none hit the full "double the value" of a regular restaruant.

To me, that means that none of them are "worth" spending double the credits. Now of course if you have an extra credit for some reason, or you really really like a place, that is a different story, but from a pure cost analysis, none are really worth it.

Our family of 4 loved the Brown Derby in 2009. The cobb salad, the steak, the grapefruit cake. Everything was delicious and the service was terrific.

Ill CHime in on CRT....

THE ONLY REASON TO GO HERE IS FOR YOUNGER CHILDREN>>>FOR THE EXPIEREINCE...not the food.

Ive made this comment in several threads, the MK IMO has the worst "sit down" dining venues of all the parks....

CRT....Menu is limited for the steep price and just average...BUT the "ambiance" is undeniable and a must do once..for kids.

Tony's is ehhh at best...nothing special...but it has been revamped so who knows....

Liberty Tavern...seems like alot of Can veggies..pasty stuffing...meat just OK...the decor...services is great...food...ehh

I hope the new fantasyland offers up a better alternative...MK could use a "50's prime time dinner" type olace...of course themed appropriately ...

IMO
