hi all,

Two of us are travelling to Disneyworld for 2 weeks in October, staying at the Coronado Springs. We've booked through Walt Disney Travel Company (I thought they were really helpful), and well, as I'm sure you can imagine, the whole thing is costing a packet - but this is a long over due treat for the both of us.

The last time I went to Disney world was in 1986! It'll be like I've never been before with all the changes (only MK and EPCOT were open then).

Anyway, we're both extremely excited and I was just wondering if you could answer some of my queries, any help would be most grateful, and I look forward to posting more (particularly after I've been and have something to talk about!):

- our holiday includes 2 ultimate park hopper passes (for the length of our holiday), there is an outside chance that we might be going again within a year, is it possible/adviseable to upgrade these tickets to annual passes?

- can I really book a restaurant res/ PS from the UK all these weeks in advance? We really fancy a Saturday night in the California Grill watching the fireworks.

- what's the best dinner show?

Thanks for now, I hope you don't mind answering some more questions as we plan our trip in more detail...

kindest regards

I noticed that you said that you will be going to Disney World in October. I am going in October and staying at the Coronado Springs as well. I hope you have a great time. I definitely think that if you are interested in seeing a dinner show you should check out the Hoop Dee Doo Revue. It is a funt time!! I inquired last year about upgrading to an annual pass because I would visiting again in 4 months and I thought that the price they were asking was a little steep. The CM also told me that it might be cheaper to just either get length of stay passes again, or park hoppers. I found myself it was cheaper to get park hoppers. I hope you have a safe and fun trip!! :)

Thanks Disneygal and disneynut - I think I'll wait till I get there before considering upgrading to AP's. Hoop de doo sounds like fun, we'll check it out. Maybe see you around disneygal... now if I can just find my damn passport then everything will be alright...

You can make Priority Seating arrangements up to 120 days
in advance, if you are trying to book a Character Breakfast at
Cinderellas Castle, book it right at 120 days, it gets fully booked
quite fast. Also, if you go again try staying at the Port Orleans
Riverside, it's a great place to stay, and they have a very nice
boat ride to Downtown Disney! Have a great time and enjoy
the Magic!!

Definitely do the annual pass. Once you hit 10 days the pass is essentially free at that point. The Ultimate park hopper actually costs you much more at that point.

As for the priority seating it is not a problem and works really well. We did every breakfast and dinner over 16 days that way (a bucnh of them as character meals) and never had to wait more than 5 minutes.

Have a good trip!

By the way to all of you UK members, and particularly Liverpool. The ESPN Club at the boardwalk is showing FA matches in the afternoon on Fox Sports Net. We saw Liverpool beat Charleton (I think it was) 4-0 so keep your eyes open.
