Who can tell me the 5 attractions Walt showcased at the 1964 Worlds Fair? Maria is in-eligible! Since, I know that she already knows. Or at least she SHOULD!;)

Was the other Eastern airlines...If I(You) Had Wings? It became Dreamflight, now Buzz Lightyear.

I remember Small World & CoP from it, also some of the other countries.

My now husband was also there. No, we didn't have a chance meeting.;)

I'll bet some of you have never even heard of Eastern Airlines! Took my first flight on one of their Whisperjets.

Darn, that would have beat my story.

Don't worry marcia, I remember Eastern Airlines.

Yep...there was 5! Come on guys....you know it! Marcia...my first ever trip to Disney (even though I barely remember anything from it) was on Eastern. Ahhh...the good ol days when it would cost my first born son to fly.

I was also lucky enough to visit the 64 Worlds Fair and remember waiting over an hour to get onto the CoP and many of the other "Walt" attractions.

I seem to remember either Ford or GM had a Disney-built ride where you rode in full sized convertibles of their current car models and traveled back through time. The ride included animatronic dinosaurs. Did these dinos end up at Universe of Energy?

Are you sure about that?

I'm holding a map of the '64-'65 Fair, and I can't find a people mover on it. Also, any book I've ever read about Disney's involvement w/ the fair lists ONLY FOUR attractions-Ford (Magic Skyway), GE (Carousel of Progress), the state of Illinois (Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln), and UNICEF/Pepsi-Cola (It's a Small World). What source did you use to find your unformation?

Ryan -
Sorry, but the WEDway people mover wasn't there. There were four Disney attractions, all identified here. Believe me, I was there (In '65, aged 11). Check any of the books on the subject - there were only the four: Lincoln, COP, Ford, and Small World.

I think Ryan is seperating the Ford Magic Motor Skyway into two things. The SKYWAY wasn't at the World's Fair. The Magic Motor Skyway was peoplemover-esque, but in cars, yes?

My mom was at the World's Fair but doesn't remember the Disney stuff, really. We have the 6 hour video from Extinct Attractions Club about it, though, and every so often she's like, "Oh, I remember that!"

The Grand Canyon diorama was at the World's Fair, right? Was it part of the Magic Motor Skyway? And it ended up at Disneyland, as part of the train, yes?

Marcia, maybe you saw my mom at the Fair. Two future MOMs. :) My mom lived in Ozone Park so she went to the Fair quite often.
