I just checked the app and she’s not showing up, but I have seen her walking around somewhat recently, so not sure what’s going on

I used to love that Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel would have a random cast. You'd always get Goofy and some Fab Five, but you also would get completely random characters from Jasmine to Baloo to Geppetto. I loved that you never knew who you'd see and it was always different. Was sad when it went to all Fab all the time.

YES! It was a must do on every trip. Now we don't bother.

And we never saw just 4 characters there. Sometimes 7-9. But I'm sure some accountant is getting a bonus for reducing salary costs by 20% at 1900 PF.

A few months ago she was meeting by the waters edge just before you reach the Rose and Crown if you were coming from Canada. I don't believe she meets in the back of pavilion garden area anymore.

Because I am talking about the wall itself, as I made clear by saying it was a mural on a plain wall. Victorian architecture was full of ornate woodwork — not plain. Murals and paintings are cheaper.

Exactly. People don’t seem to understand Victorian — and heaven forbid any actual architectural reference to the Flagler era in Florida upon which the “Grand Floridian Beach Resort” is supposed to draw inspiration.

I am mostly talking about the architectural details that are going away in the general de-theming of the resort.

Let's be honest...it's not really a mural but just a sign saying the name of the place you are in... It is a graphic....and it is lazy.
It is not a thematic detail to ooh and ahh over. I can't believe they even dropped that as a piece of PR.
Think about the name of the restaurant... Is any of what they are doing really furthering the storytelling of a Seaside fair at the turn of the century? The dawn of electricity...in a Gilded Age resort?... It was always a very hum-drum looking restaurant aside from the carousel pieces. It should have been designed to look like it was built out of that turn of the century Carousel, dripping in gold leaf, lights, kinetic mechanical gears...something truly magical and memorable...
