Can Disney keep their messaging to themselves or is it the end ?
Can you?
Some of us just want to enjoy movies without the dramatic huffing and puffing.
Deadpool and Wolverine ring a bell?As the Simpsons is a satire based cartoon with media as one of its primary targets (Disney being one featured in over 40 episodes), its not too far of a stretch for them to guide the script away from any inferred criticism of any company IP or employee.
Um, Simpsons has continued to target Disney even after being acquired by Disney in recent episodes. They have kept a hands off approach to the show. So there is no reason to believe they would start now just because a new movie is being released. As the Simpsons is a satire based cartoon with media as one of its primary targets (Disney being one featured in over 40 episodes), its not too far of a stretch for them to guide the script away from any inferred criticism of any company IP or employee.
Well you only have to wait a couple years, as the contract with Uni is up in 2028 and I have serious doubts a renewal will happen.I’m hopeful, would love to see The Simpsons leave Universal for Disney as well.
As much as I love The Simpsons, I'm not sure it really belongs in WDW.I’m hopeful, would love to see The Simpsons leave Universal for Disney as well.
I actually think it would be great fun to visit! It just doesn't feel Disney.I don’t think Springfield makes sense as a theme park land at all. A town that exists solely as a pastiche of the worst aspects of American towns is not a nice place to visit.
I just don’t think it’s an appealing place to visit. It probably doesn’t help that I don’t find the Simpsons funny. I agree it would stick out like a sore thumb at Disney.I actually think it would be great fun to visit! It just doesn't feel Disney.
I don't think we need to worry about it showing up in a theme park anymore once Universal tears it out for something new like Pokemon. The Crusty Burgers were okay.
However, I wouldn't put it pass Disney to stick a Futurama ride in Tomorrowland.

Can't. Disney wants it's IP back. Besides the Simpsons Ride is sliding down the hill.I wonder if the movie will make Universal want to keep the land open longer.
