Only 15 things? Come on, we can do better, right people? How about the reaction you get when seeing this for the first time:

Funny about #12...I currently have "When you wish upon a star" as my friends/family ringtone, but I can never hear it and was thinking about switching over to IASW.

#7 is the only one I don't agree with...BUT...I will say that Epcot inspired us way back when to get passports and do some international travel before having kids. Out of the countries in the WS, I've been to Mexico, Canada, Germany, Italy, France, and England ---and we have the WS to thank. And my parents were in Norway last summer and my grandparents went to Morocco a couple of times...so, as a family we've covered everything in the WS except for China and Japan.

Very true. The real place is just a bit more special than a small pavilion at EPCOT. Its a entirely different experience. :)

Guilty of them all. BUT PROUD.
#1 made me laugh because it is exactly how I dance when I get to WDW! :p
Guilty of the sleep one, too. One time we stayed in MK until 1:00 AM! (bear in mind it was MNSSHP, so of course I was gonna stay till it ended). When I get to WDW, sleep does not matter to me at all!

... add, you have a few beers on a Friday night and while looking at expedia.com you find a great flight from Logan to MCO. 10 minutes later you're booked at Disney, 30 minutes later you have 7 days worth of ADR's... you're hooked.

LOL! That is hilarious!
I probably never could've admitted to doing the same, but now I can proudly admit thanks to you helping me out of my shell (which was surrounded by a few empties!).
Funny though, how that little bit (?) of liberation can tip the balance of "yeah, I haven't exactly run the numbers, but that would be a fantastic trip" and turn it into a reality.
The best part is, if you buy plane tickets while you're at it, you can completely justify the whole thing afterward by arguing "well, we're CERTAINLY not going to pay those astronomical cancellation/change fees! That would be irresponsible!" LOL!

Number 13 had me actually laughing out loud. :D I feel like I look totally insane when I make ADR's. For a minute, I said "Nah, Small World's not my ringtone! I'm off the hook there." But it is the Magic Kingdom Welcome Medley, which isn't any better, ha. Love this list, thanks for sharing!

well, my reality is that my wife is really into the last minute / impulsive type trips... and while economically we may not be in the best position at the time I always play along knowing well that expedia will CRUSH that dream fast. I don't know how many times I've looked at flights 10-14 days prior to the projected departure date and it's 500 dollars a person. We logged on and the flight was just short of 200, roundtrip leaving early Am and coming home late PM... my favorite flights!

Add in a pretty decent AAA rate for the Pop and we were in for under a 1000 bucks for 6 days.

Other signs you're an addict:

  • Noticing when when any effect or detail, no matter how small, has stopped working.
  • Knowing the script to rides such as Jungle Cruise, Great Movie ride etc.
  • Hidden Mickeys aren't even hidden to you anymore!
  • Being able to correctly estimate the wait times for each ride, no matter what kind of day.
  • Already knowing the menu at your favourite Disney restaurant
  • Knowing so many facts, you could give one of the tours!
  • Having absolutely no work training at disney, but know that if you were to ask a CM for directions, they will point with two fingers.
  • Knowing the parade float sequence
  • Knowing all the backing music!
  • Knowing which rides to avoid, as they will be closed due to a refurb... But also knowing what day to return when it's opened again! :)
:p:D;)

Scored on every one except the "It's a Small World ringtone". I would go insane if I had to listen to that every time I had to answer the phone. Out of all of them # 13 looks exactly like my house during the Disney trip planning phase.
