What time does the ship usually pull out of Cape Canaveral? I think I read we get our rooms around 1 or 2 pm so I could be in my room on my veranda with drink in hand while we pull out of port?? I know there is a mandatory safety meeting when do they usually hold these?

Sail away is usually around 5:00PM. I believe the safety briefing is around 3:30PM. You will be told more when you arrive on the ship. I must say that Disney’s was one of the best safety briefings I was ever at.

As @TDF said, the muster drill is usually at 4. Sailaway takes place between 4:30 & 5:00 usually. Once everyone is accounted for at the muster drill they can get it done and everyone can be released. You'll have time to get back to your stateroom, set up the music, pour your drink, and get seated! Happy sailing!

Ps. There's also the sailaway deck party at 4:30-ish. Just an FYI. We don't usually make it a priority to see the stage thing. We generally get positioned by a rail to watch us sail out.

@sweetpee_1993 Yea the stage show is nothing fantastic unless you have kids and they enjoy dancing… however sailing away from Port Canaveral was amazing! I found it so fascinating with the amount of people in Fish Lips watching and waving even some of the locals had chairs out and about waving as we passed by! I so want to live their. :(
