12/30 phased closings at MK?

Our plans may now find us with some time to make it over to MK on 12/30 — as APs staying off-property, what are our chances of getting through the gates if we arrive by, say, 6 or 7PM?

Usually AP's dont get blocked from entering until like Phase 3/4, but if you want to save time staying till midnight there are two showings of the New Year's Fireworks the first being at 6:30, you can also get a great view of the New Year's fireworks from Polynesian Beach, but do plan on waiting for a spot for fireworks for a good hour and a half or two hours wherever and whenever you decide to watch it.

You'll be fine on 12/30. It would be very unusual for MK to have a phased closing on 12/30, let alone one that excluded Platinum AP's.

12/31 is more likely to have a phased closing for MK, but I'd still be surprised if you weren't able to get in.
