My husband Matt and I just returned from the most magical vacation. We spent 11 days in Orlando. With time spent at Universal and Disney.

I hope you will follow along!

Wednesday May 10th

I was back up early this morning trying to get another Tron boarding group! Thankfully I was successful but there would be no going back to sleep.

We had a very important breakfast to attend.

When we arrived to the Magic Kingdom and saw the security line and the line to get in I became so nervous that we were going to be late.

Thankfully we made it and checked in on time. About 5 minutes later we were being called in to Crystal Palace! I was so excited to eat here!

We started with some delicious food.

And soon enough the characters started coming by!

Seriously I was so excited!

Tiger actually snuck up on Matt at the table. It was really funny!

Yes this breakfast was expensive but the food was delicious and the character interactions made it all worth it. Definitely one of our favorites from the trip.

As we were leaving Crystal Palace we ran into Peter Pan. He told me to follow him!

We had a nice little walk and chat. He told me there were dragons (cranes) in the moat. It was a wonderful magic moment.

After our exciting interaction with Peter it was time to ride some rides!

10.jpg

We had to visit Pooh again.

11.jpg

Plus a ride on this classic.

And a ride on Peter Pan.

We then decided to do PhilharMagic one more time.

Had to make a visit to the Haunted Mansion

59.jpg

We did not nail it.

We grabbed a lemonade slush and headed to Big Thunder Mountain.

We ran into a friend

12.jpg

Unfortunately when we got to Big Thunder Mountain the line was insane.

So we decided to take a few laps on the train.

We got off in Fantasyland and made our way to Tomorrowland.

We took another ride on the People Mover.

Matt rode Space Mountain again

I grabbed this special blue slushy from Jofferys while Matt was riding.

Then we had a little Tron photoshoot

Then it was our turn to ride

56.jpg

Despite my face I really do like this ride.

Had to get a selfie with Buzz!
15.jpg

Decided to stop in here

17.jpg

It was really funny. Before the show started Matt appeared on the screen. He still lived with his monster in law.

It was then time to grab a quick lunch before heading out of the park

18.jpg

Casey's Corner and of course some more cheeseburger spring rolls

We took our time heading out of the park

We had an uneventful bus ride back! We had a wonderful nap in our room and it was time to head to the Poly for our evening.

We just ended up taking a Lyft.

20.jpg

We got another order of the nachos and tried the Thai Coconut Meatballs. Both were so good.

We were then able to find a spot at the Tiki Terrace

i.jpg

Another Spiky Pineapple with extra rum.

Next round: Margaritas

And of course we had to get more of those tacos.

We watched Happily Ever After again and enjoyed the beautiful evening.

Today was our Animal Kingdom Day. We did our usual breakfast in bed and had a nice lazy morning.

We actually ending up falling back asleep and didn't wake back up until 1:30pm Oops. I guess we needed the rest.

We finally got ready to head out and there was an Animal Kingdom bus just waiting for us which was super nice.

We got into the park and headed to Expedition Everest.

It only had a 5 minute wait. So what did we do? We rode it five times in a row!

We had a blast!

After this we headed over to Pandora.

We decided to split an order of the cheeseburger pods but we each got our own night blossom.

23.jpg

Everything was delicious.

Flight of Passage had a low wait time so Matt went to ride that.

He ended up having a little bit of an issue because they let too many people into the preshow room but he eventually made it on and loved the ride.

While I was waiting I had a margarita.

m.jpg

I was sitting in the covered area by Satu'li Canteen and all of a sudden heard a big bolt of thunder and then felt a downpour happening.

I texted Matt to let him know there was a storm happening.

We met back up and there was a little break in the rain. We headed to Navi River Journey. We had a short wait

When we were done the line to exit was all backed up and there were people just standing everywhere.

We made the decision to just brave the rain. Of course I had forgotten the ponchos in the room but we didn't want to get stuck with a whole bunch of people.

28.jpg

Raining just a tad bit.

27.jpg

We were absolutely soaked.

Thankfully we made it to the bus stop and only had to wait about 10 minutes for a bus.

We made it back to Pop and just ended up ordering a pizza for dinner that night.

I am little bummed that our Animal Kingdom Day got cut short but all in all we had a great time!

Friday May 12th.

Our last park day.

I once again was up early to get a Guardians boarding group.

I was successful and thankfully got a little bit of a later group (Group 56) so we could sleep in.

Of course we started with breakfast in bed and then made our way to Epcot.

There was a little Skyliner delay and we were cutting it close to the end of our boarding group.

29.jpg

Would we make it?

46.jpg

We did! With like a minute to spare!

We headed to Spaceship Earth next. I had never done this attraction before and was ready to experience something new.

Everything was going fine until we got stuck at the end. In the dark part with all of the stars.

It was not good for my motion sickness. We were stuck for about 10 minutes but felt like an hour.

n.jpg

Matts picture did not show up.

Once we were safely off the ride I felt much better.

We decided we needed a little photoshoot.

Next we headed over to the Land Building.

Matt was ready for some lunch

q.jpg

Stir-fried Chicken with Teriyaki Chicken, Peppers, Onions, Pineapple, and a Tangy Sweet-and-Sour Sauce
This was delicious

o.jpg

Cheese Pizza Roll

Served with Pasta Salad Also delicious

p.jpg

The pasta salad was not our favorite but they give you a good portion.

After our lunch we headed to ride Living With the Land

We got the front of the boat!

Next up was

34.jpg

The entire "B" section was down so we waited for about 60 minutes.

Still a great ride and worth the wait!

It was a scorcher of a day but we still had a few Flower and Garden Items that we wanted to try.

r.jpg

From Trowel and Trellis
Twinings Iced Green Tea with Cranberry and Lime (Non-alcoholic)
This was so refreshing and delicious.

s.jpg

Finally had to try the Violet Lemonade. This was a favorite!

t.jpg

Grilled Street Corn on the Cob with Savory Garlic Spread and Spicy Corn Chips

And Florida Strawberry Shortcake

Both of these items were delicious.

Side story: We were sitting on a bench overlooking the water and there were some high tables set up near the gates. (You can see it in the Violet Lemonade Picture).

There was a couple of families with small children using a few of the tall tables and the kids were reaching into the fence feeding the ducks. The parents kept warning the kids to not feed the ducks and not put their hands in the fence.

Next thing you know one of the ducks bit one of the kids. Thankfully the child was not seriously injured.

We made our way back to the Skyliner and encountered a huge line. The Skyliner was down and not moving.

We decided to just stick it out. There were announcements that it would be running soon so we decided to stick it out.

After about 20 minutes of waiting in line it started moving again. 15 minutes later of it moving they started boarding.

Everything was going smoothly for about 15 minutes and we were getting close to the front of the line.

Then it stopped again. We waited another 20 minutes and it started going again. And started boarding after 10 minutes of moving.

We finally made it on and luckily had no problems.

We made it back to Pop and took a nice nap.

We decided to have a chill evening.

We packed everything up. Which was not easy. And just got a pizza from the food court for dinner.

I love the Skyliner but think you were quite brave to get on it at this point!

Saturday May 13th.

The saddest day of them all.

We were able to sleep in a little this morning and decided to just take our luggage with us and get one last breakfast.

As we were heading out we saw some characters meetings!

One last meet and greet! Heck yes!

We definitely enjoyed the last bit of magic!

I had booked the Sunshine Flyer for our trip to the airport. When we got out to the meeting point there were tons of people waiting. We were already cutting it a bit close and I was getting nervous. Our pick up time came and went and we decided to just get a Lyft.

The Lyft ended up being only about 10 dollars more than what I had paid for the Sunshine Flyer and was well worth it.

All our bags weighed less than 50 pounds and we were through security pretty fast!

We had uneventful flight home.

It took a little bit of time to get our luggage but it was all safe and sound.

My dad picked us up from the airport!

Doggo.jpg

We were reunited with our pups who we missed so much!

Overall we had a wonderful trip.

I am glad that we had so many days this time. It allowed us to really take our time in the parks and we had plenty of time to relax as well.

Disney will always be our happy place!
