Just wondering if anyone from the UK has done an 11 day trip..Reason I ask is that flying from Manchester instead of Glasgow is a saving of £450 and the 11 day instead of 14 is £ 600 cheaper..A total of £1.050..With flights now under 8 hours and leaving at 0945 and getting into Orlando by 1300, the day is not wasted..Any thoughts on this including my American buddies..

I'd definitely go for this if it meant getting to Florida... We're travelling down to Manchester from Glasgow in September and are going to stay the night before at an airport hotel to break up the travel. Wouldn't want to do a 3 1/2 hour drive then on a 9 hour flight. That would be a crazy early morning and would render your first day useless even if you are getting in at 1300.

I'd definitely do it though. I think us Brits sometimes take it for granted that the standard holiday time is 2 weeks. Most Americans would chomp at the bit to get 7 days let alone 11!

Are you planning a sneaky wee earlier trip than 2016?

That's a lot of magic cookie bars and stops in La Cava! If it gets you to where you want to be, why not?

Hi, we haven't done an 11 day but we have flown from Manchester ... We also live in scotland and have always elected to fly from Manchester instead of Glasgow because of cost. Are you flying VA? I would say by the time you clear customs, luggage and get to your resort| villa then you maybe looking at sometime between 4/5. The drive down to Manchester is okay but the drive home with jet lag can be a challenge, depending on whether or not you can get any sleep on the flight. Have you priced adding on a couple of extra days?

It's also 200 squid cheaper if you stay at either CS or POFQ/RS over CBR ?????? And CBR has lower ratings in the brochure ???
Yeh..CBR has still double beds instead of queen, and I believe it's in need of a good refurbishment..Hold the phone.. You say it's dearer to stay at CBR.?...Thats got to be a mistake..I'll check that out later..
