100 Years of Magic Street Signs/Banners

Just got from a week in WDW It's pretty depressing to be back...especially when I have no clue when I will be able to go down there again. But the weather was great and the crowds were tolerable. I had a wonderful time.

Anyway...I have a question that I am hoping does not sound too stupid and maybe someone can answer for me. You know the signs on the lamp posts/streets for the 100 Years of Magic celebration...the ones that twinkle once it gets dark out? I was wondering if there was a way to purchase one of those. For some reason I really like those signs/banners...especially the brown Epcot and blue MGM ones. I would love to have one to hang on my wall at home, thats how much I like them! Does anyone know if its possible to buy one, and if it is how I would go about doing so?? Thanks so much for your help!!

I agree BMC. I would love to have all four to hang in the Rec room. I would want the ones that have the lights on them. I wonder if they would auction them off after the 100 Years Celebration??????

I know that WDW hold a "tent sale" for Cast Members, and things like this have been known to be for sale there, but I don't know if there is a way for regular Joes like you and me to buy stuff. I agree though, those banners are really cool.

I think they some of them go up for auction after the festivities are over. Some of the millenium celebration signs are up for sale on ebay. As for another place that might sell banners etc. would be Disneyana. They have everything! There will be a big event later this year at the World Showplace (not 100% sure) where you can buy pretty much ANYTHING Disney.

I have seen a lot of things like this available from Phil Sears, but he doesn't often have things that are "current"...in other words, if he ends up getting these, it'll be a few years from now. I realllllly want one of those street banners!!! I like the one from the MK, it would look really nice in my room with all the Tinkerbell stuff I have..... I wonder... how much would it cost?

I asked at the Art of Disney and they said they were not for sale, but I think there was one on Ebay.....

Yeah seriously, I was nervous to ask about the signs at first cause I thought everyone would think I was nuts! They are so cool though! I have kinda given up on any possibility of getting one though And I took pics of the signs too!

I would love to have a set of those. Maybe they will show up on eBay after the celebration. I also took a pictures of them (and thought I was crazy for doing do). I particularly liked the fact that the Animal Kingdom one has a dragon on it. Still gives me hope for Beastly Kingdom.
