100 years ago, a tradition began with you.....What are your family traditions when in the various Disney parks of the world?

My tradition started as a very young child and entering Cinderella's castle...My family set a pact to always touch the glass slipper in the Cinderella mosaic located in the castle tunnel at Walt Disney World...That way we know we will always be together when celebrating joy. The joy Walt Disney provided 100 years ago. My family has changed quite a bit of the years, but I always can touch that glass slipper and I know they are there in my heart.

Happily, my children (now both adults) "grew up" at the CA parks. Eventually, we bought a "brick" that was displayed in the quad area (for those who are unaware, Disney sells personalized stepping stones that get laid into the space between the turnstiles for DL and DCA.). Talk about feeling a sense of ownership. LOL! IDK if this program is still taking place. After our brick was installed we started a tradition of visiting it on the way in on day 1 of a visit. Then on to get a coffee and a cinnamon twist.

My mom always rides Buzz... on my first trip, she beat my brother (or was it the other way round?), and she beat me on my second trip too.

Another tradition? DIPPED CHICKEN STRIPS AT TOMORROWLAND TERRACE. They initially were an accident, and I hated them, but NOW I LOVE THEM.

That is a good question. Trying to separate out rituals from traditions...

We always used to eat at least once at the Restaurant Marrakesh, but that may have ended. Boo

We always visit MK at least once

We always ride It's a Small World as well as Carousel of Progress at last once. Both of those trigger a nice lizard brain-level endorphin dump.

We always stay on site.

A ritual would be when going into MK we all start chattering "get ready, get ready, oo, oo " *and then castle* "ahhhhhHHHHhh, squeel squeel" ...or something approximating that.

We always go to Hollywood Studios first and the first ride is ALWAYS The Great Movie Ride which is just the perfect first attraction of any visit to get you in the mood for a Disney vacation....

I rode that first when we went to DHS in 2016. We were the only people there. My tour guide's name was Ashley. Mom said, "Ewwww!" when we went thru the Alien scene.

Sadly, GMR is gone now, and Crackhead Goofy's Runaway Railway has replaced it. I say it because 2013 Goofy looks like he is on drugs.

I have almost always park hopped, namely, between the Magic Kingdom and Epcot, since around 2014, and even when I’ve become a passholder. I’ve also Park hopped between Animal Kingdom & Epcot, Hollywood Studios & Epcot, heck I even done four parks in one day, even under crazy, crazy time restrictions! Seems like every time I park hopped it would usually be over to Epcot!!!

Since becoming a FL Resident AP in 2016 I’ve also taken public transportation (LYNX, SunRail, Votran, Uber, and even Amtrak) as opposed to driving into Walt Disney World resort!
