It looks and sounds like the long long wait is going to pay off.
Those are some cool pics.

DOUBLE POST... Sorry
I have heard that most of the standby line is going to be outside but how is this going to work?

I'm very confused as to how the traffic is going to work around the plaza. I have heard that most of the standby line is going to be outside but how is this going to work? The large sign hanging above the Red Planet shows directions to each line but wouldn't that be useless if the lines extend out the building anyway? From the looks of it, there is no queue area outside the main building at all. Can anyone enlighten me?
Aaahh.. I had the same problem... but I figured.. "hey! I can just delete them right after I see them..." I wont be able to ride it until Jan/Feb, though...Originally posted by Main Street USA
I will NOT click those links! I will NOT click those links!
Aaaargh! It's so tempting, but I want it to be fresh and new when I get there in late August. That only leaves me about 2 and a half months to go crazy, and to NOT fall off the wagon and click that link!
Aaaaaargh!
BTW, Steve, not a huge deal, but I've never recieved a password for the main site. Therefore I haven't been able to check out any large pics since the membership changes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.![]()
Ok.... so the outside queue can't be seen from the pictures? I don't know why I am having so much trouble visualizing where the singles line would queue outside. It just doesn't look like there is enough room.Originally posted by MrNonacho
The Red Planet acts as a hub for all the different queues. On one side you've got the Fastpass machines and the entrance to Standby, and on the other you've got the Fastpass Return and Singles lines. I'm not very good at estimating these kind of things, but it seems that a full Standby queue would indeed be mostly outdoors. The outside queue is pretty well hidden off to the left of the building. It has a nice (but hot) walkway which is what they were using while I was there, with some extra queue tucked away against the HP lounge for when it's busier. Once you're inside the building, it's pretty much just the "Gravity Wheel Room" with all the switchbacks and then the little hallway leading to the ready rooms.
