I have one word for our trip........

CROWDED

Last time we visited was in May 2003 and it was just as crowded this time if not more. We were very disappointed.

10/26 to 10/29 much busier than usual

We have been visiting at this time of year, or a week later, for the past five years or so (with many other trips during the years at 'random' times) and I totally agree that it was busier this year. We make the visit at this time of the year for the Food & Wine Festival, which was also very busy. Party for the Senses is more and more crowded each year as well.

We still had a good time, but we will adjust for a different weekend (most likely waiting until early November) for our future trips - we skipped many rides b/c of wait times this trip - I don't recall having had to do that in recent years ....

Thanks for posting your report - sorry you were disappointed by the crowd levels, it sounds like you had a great time dispite this

Yes we had a very good time despite the crowds, sickness and weather. If we can afford to take another trip we will go in November, January or February.....and get up VERY early. Good idea about early breakfast reservations. Maybe THAT will get them moving. :lol:

I was in the world Oct 20-27 and it was absurdly busy, unless you went first thing in the morning it meant waiting in long lines!
