1 bed, 2 bath

Can anyone confirm my understanding that Bay Lake Tower and Kidani Village are the only two DDV resorts with two bathrooms in the 1-bedroom units? My parents might be joining us for our trip next year and I don't really want to pay for a 2-bedroom villa. My wife and I don't mind the queen sleeper sofa but we'd definitely want two bathrooms.

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
GF has a split bath that can be accessed from Master and foyer. Has two toilets/vanities/showers.
No it does not in a 1 bedroom Villa at Grand Floridian. That is incorrect as I have stayed there before. It's only ONE TOILET but 2 bathing/sink areas in a 1 bedroom Villa at VGF and he would have to get a 2 bedroom Villa at VGF to get 2 FULL bathrooms with 2 toilets.
The only 2 DVC resorts with 2 FULL baths in a 1 bedroom Villa is at Kidani Village and Bay Lake Tower. :)

Not 2 showers. 1 shower and 1 whirlpool tub, so technically, 2 people can get ready at the same time, though one will have to take a bath. I agree that it would have been much better to go with 2 complete bathrooms, rather than the split thing they did. C'mon, it's the Grand Floridian for goodness sakes!

Okay so one toilet. I had the rest right!!

(But two people can shower/bathe and only one can potty? Who thought this through?)

Exactly! Lol Never thought this made much sense but I guess it's better than being just one single room/area. ;)

Thanks everyone for the answers. Now it looks like my sisters want to come too, so I might be looking at a Treehouse situation.
Treehouses are awesome! Have stayed there twice already. Just remember that the 3rd bedroom has bunk beds, so not really fit for a couple. The master bath showr/tub are among the best I've ever seen anywhere, and not just at Disney!

See I never cared for bathrooms like that where the shower is right outside the tub. Not very fun if someone wants to take a bath at the same time your spouse/significant other wants to take a shower. I rather the tub and shower be totally seperate as we have used a bathroom like above before at another hotel during our travels. Never could bathe at the same time unless I wanted water flung at me and soap flying! LOL. Give me a seperate tub and seperate shower any day! This turned me off of the master bath in the tree houses when I discovered this a few years ago. :)

The shower is more than big enough that you will not be splashing water on the person in the tub, unless you want to with the spray handle.

Hopefully nobody objects to me using this space as my personal "complain about planning this stupid trip" thread. It started as me, my wife, and our daughter. Simple enough. We stayed at AKL last time so figured we'd do WL this time. Scared of the DVC construction at WL, we went back and forth about whether to upgrade to the Contemporary or downgrade to Port Orleans Riverside. Well then my parents decided they might want to join us so it became either a 2-bedroom at OKW/Saratoga, a 1-bedroom at Kindai/Bay Lake Tower, or two rooms at Riverside. Now my sisters (one or both) want to come so it's either 2-bedroom OKW/Saratoga or Tree House. And that's where I sit. *Ugh.*

Being the Disney expert of the family is not always a good thing.;)

@Master Yoda or anyone else who knows, can I book two rooms under one reservation number, or would they necessarily be two different reservations? Does it make a difference if I do connecting rooms?
No it still would be 2 seperate reservation numbers even if connecting rooms as connecting rooms are never guaranteed anyway. :)

No. Each room has to be a separate reservation. You would then add the requests for connecting rooms to the reservations. The request unfortunately can not be guaranteed.

I thought I read in The Unofficial Guide or somewhere that you could get the connection guaranteed upfront if you were traveling with minor children.
