1/7 Universal Orlando Photo Update

Just returned from a great visit to the parks today. Crowds were pretty small, longest wait was 20 minutes at RotM. Saw the Macy's Holiday Parade (which was great) and Fear Factor filming at IoA as well.

I rode the following:

Revenge of the Mummy (7x....finally hit 50 rides)

Horror Make-Up Show
Terminator 2: 3D Battle Across Time

Let's get on the photo update.....we'll start at IoA.

Decades Cafe is now open in place of the Motown Cafe.

Fear Factor was filming at Islands of Adventure today.

Sign advertising Fear Factor filming.

The stunts involved a helicopter hovering just feet above water.

There were a couple trucks around the PoE area that housed the Fear Factor filming crew.

Another shot of Fear Factor filming, this time from under the Incredible Hulk Coaster.

The Jurassic Park River Adventure building that had been damaged during the hurricanes has been repaired.

The gates on JPRA were working for once. :lol:

A crane in Seuss Landing for the Fear Factor filming.

The Grinchmas event ends tomorrow.

The lagoon was set up for the Fear Factor filming.

The Fear Factor filming crew was setting up for another stunt.

IoA was unusually crowded for a weekday.

These things were on top of the Neutron and Shrek buildings.

What happened to the Captain Jake's sign?

The Stunt Show theater was covered....I wonder what is going on.

I am finally happy that the actually fixed up JPRA and they are starting to do something with the WWWSS. I heard that there was several other IOA fanatics lurking around the parks today too.

Great photos!!! How is ROTM doing, I know that when rides open for the first year, specially coasters they tend to break down frequently. I know that mummy is no exception, has it been doing better then it was back during the summer?

Right now it usually breaks down once or twice a day, but every time I went to it yesterday I never had a problem. Everything on the ride seems to be working fine as well (by the way, it looks like they added some rope tied around Reggie's hands).

Andy - As far as I know, it's staying.
Shopgirl146 - It's either May 23rd or the 25th...can't remember the date exactly.

Picked up my 15 month AP for 12 month price at the Studios today. Did Shrek, Mummy, BTTF, and MIB and was out in 1 hr.
