DAK “Zootopia” is being created for the Tree of Life theater

I don't doubt you. It appears Disney is a victim of its own reputation. Anything that veers away from "kid friendly" is bound to receive complaints. In many cases, like here, rides/shows, get replaced. Others get tinkered with to remove more negative elements. Meanwhile over at Uni, they can pretty much do what they want because scary is not only allowed, it's expected.

Well, especially with something that isn't clear from the outside that it will be scary and uses a pretty kid friendly looking IP.

Basically something that is unexpectedly scary.

Like if you ride Expedition Everest and complain it was scary/thrilling that is sort of silly.

But if like The Cat in the Hat was scary at Universal I can understand complaining it was scary as it isn't obvious it would be

Isn't Bugs Life one of the few Pixar films to have like, no external media? No shorts featuring it, no sequel, just the one film and that's it? Kinda shows how Pixar and Disney as a whole feels about it.

I was maybe thinking Better Zoogether is going to be something like Country Bear Jamboree where they sing some new originals songs to the audience (oh and "Try Everything" is there I guess). But I seriously doubt we're going to get a rave party there, though that kind of would be funny if we did lol.

If you think about they don’t really build these types of attractions anymore so I’m trying to get a frame of reference that’s not over 25 years old.

Well just about everything will have at least some people complain but I think Rise of the Resistance and Flight of Passage are generally thought of quite highly and I would call "home runs". Cosmic Rewind too outside of the arguments of location. Slinky Dog too for what it is

Edit: if you mean "sows" specifically, like with animatronics, I don't think there really have been any in the past 10 years, good or bad. If broadening the scope, the Frozen Sing-along, for what it is, is good and has been very popular

I guess Disney chooses which complaints they want to hear? Because they certainly don’t seem to care about the ROA complaints. I’m guessing it has zero to do with complaints and everything to do with getting Zootopia in there. But yes it will most likely be more child friendly partly due to the (likely very few) ITTBBAB complaints.

“Likely very new” as if we haven’t seen people complaining that this show scared their kids for over two decades. I didn’t even get to do it until I was 8 because my mother heard the stories online about it scaring kids.

They don’t care about the ROA complaints because the general public couldn’t care less and the only complaints are from a segment of Disney Parks Fandom (who they’re already rather used to hearing complaints from). The general public has shown some resistance to ITTBAB. If the GP cared about the river, they wouldn’t be axing it. But they don’t, and haven’t for I’d say a good 30+ years now. It’s really that simple.

Oh, saw it as a show or attraction but possibly meant something in a theater

Not sure how many new theater productions there have been on late at WDW.

Re-done Country bears, given the parameters of what they were going for I think is very well done ... But as for new, just isn't something they have added if late

It did get an entire land at DCA- plus the It's Tough to be a Bug show.

I'd argue a theme park land is far more meaningful than a few D+ shorts.

They are pivoting based off EU and what that’ll bring. Want to be able to pace correctly and efficiently as they plan to expand AK.

You were wrong before and you're wrong now with a claim that Disney would spend tens if not hundreds of millions of dollars to put in Zootopia temporarily. We all see how ridiculous the claim is.

Even if this isn't you making this up, you should re-evaluate what your friends tell you because either they're trolling you or lying to you. Are they really your friends if they do that to you? Do you want to continue to be friends with people as gullible as you are?
