DAK “Zootopia” is being created for the Tree of Life theater

Yeah, and my sources say the whole interior of the theater is being gutted/extensively modified (backed up by the fact they got a big name contractor on those permits) and those who really love the interior should document every inch for preservation. (Please)

They're not going to go out of their way, within a week of announcing the closing date for this, to cancel it, scrap all advertisement for it planned, throw out all film material already produced, throw out the AAs, made for it, props fabricated/in the process of fabrication, all so they can keep around a 20+ year old 3D film based off of god damn Bugs Life.

Read my lips: Bugs Life. One of the few Pixar films to barely get any single follow-up, supplementary material outside of this 3D show made before the film was even done.

They can't even use a "fan outcry" excuse for changing course here, because, let's face it, nobody outside of a section of the parks community is shedding tears over this show. RoA, Dinosaur, Muppets, those have a fair bit of fan outcry (peep the dinosaur sneak). It's Tough To Be A Bug? Not really.

So if your sources are claiming that they'll scrap everything worked on for this show to keep this around, as much as I love how much Bugs Life fits into DAK and dislike Zootopia, by all means, keep claiming it. But common sense+newly filed permits shows it's full steam ahead for this ZOO-gusting show.
That is the saddest part really, such a shame but figured. Are they even attempting to make the tree fit into the story at all?

How about this, if you're right, we'll know soon enough. TTBAB will remain. Which I would prefer. Then you can come back and say "told ya so" and we will admit you may have been right. If it gets rethemed as the apparent plan, we will know that your sources may not be that reliable or up-to-date.
Or real. 😂

I miss weird epcot. I will forever stand by that it should’ve been:
Mission space -> Replaces UOE
GOTG -> replaces wonders of life
Horizons- > remains.
If they did a different Guardians ride with them trying to teach us about our universe and something goes wrong, I would agree. But current Guardians doesn't fit Epcot at all, especially our beloved weird Epcot.

“Universe of Energy Solar Coaster” would have been a slam dunk.

Alas, Bob Iger’s Disney sees solar energy as just a social media gimmick/marketing campaign with an ROI that would never come close to that of selling landfill-bound plastic Marvel crap.

Who knows, now that the GotG franchise is over and the MCU is essentially dead (Blade is dead, Captain America BNW has been rewritten/refilmed three times, and Fantastic Four looks like a snooze), maybe a return to the old UOE theme lies in the foreseeable future.

We just need Iger and his toadies OUT.

That doesn’t make much sense.
The facts are:

Disney has announced the show is closing in March of 2025.

We have permits that show work will be done inside the theater.

Disney has posted on their social the new show will have a Clawhautzer AA.

But sure, the show is sticking around ;)
Those are YOUR facts
Found a photo of your sources:
Hm ok
What I'm getting at is that on now multiple occasions you've gone into various threads claiming to have "sources" that tell you about projects that end up being false claims. So my point is maybe you should stop listening to those "sources" as they keep giving you wrong information.
Please provide proof of when I’ve done this? If I’ve said it’s been in good faith.

Lets see, of the projects you claimed "sources" gave you inside information -

1. You said that Tarzan's Treehouse in Disneyland was being rethemed to the Tarzan 2 movie because of "trashcans being moved", didn't happen in fact they removed the Tarzan theme completely and went back to the Swiss Family theme and not even in the timeline you claimed.
2. You said that Tiana's Bayou Adventure in both WDW and Disneyland were being rushed and opened early in Disney's response to Epic Universe, when you were told numerous times by many people here including those with real inside sources that was not happening.
3. And now you are saying that the Zootopia retheme is not happening and that Bug's Life is staying open, when we have an actual closure date and permits filed, meaning this isn't likely to happen either.

I believe there might have been a few more, like something about retheming of some resorts but I could be wrong about that.

I'm sure you think this is providing "good faith" inside information from "sources". But its clear those "sources" are not providing good actual inside information. I suspect these "sources" are just random Youtubers or other Disney Vloggers on social media platforms who have no actual inside information and just stating their own personal opinions. As you slipped once during the Tarzan's Treehouse claims that these were your "social media friends" like Disney Dan, ie posts you've found on X, when its known he and others don't have actual inside connections to be able to provide real inside information.

So maybe instead of listening to these "sources" and presenting them as "inside information", you instead just give your opinion on what you think might happen. And let others discuss and provide you information on why or why not your opinion may or may not happen.
