See, I just don't get it. The original animated Lion King was a world-wide blockbuster. But in Disney World, it only gets a puppet show and trampolines, not a ride. Meanwhile dippy non-Disney Pandora gets its own freaking land. I'll say it again: Robert Iger is a cement head.

While I don't really agree on your Disney purchased IP stance. I agree Lion King was and is deserving of more than a show. A Lion King ride/area in AK was a no brainer. It wasn't just Iger that blew it, so did Eisner. Lion King was a sure thing but they opened the park with a tie in for a movie that hadn't come out yet? And I enjoyed Dinosaur but it isn't in the same town, or state for that matter as Lion King.
