Guess we'll just have to wait and see then 😉

There's a path leading to a potential expansion both inside Donkey Kong and before you enter the portal into Donkey Kong in the main SNW area. Looks like they left themselves 2 potential paths to lead to an expansion and there might even be one on the other side too (though i think they may end...

I'm not gonna argue the other points because we've all been going back and forth on this thread on this for like 50+ pages and let's be real we aren't changing anybody's personal opinions at this point here but SNW is definitely not space constrained at Epic Universe. They left room to expand...

Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts vs Revenge of the Mummy

Gringotts is a great ride but it's hard to beat Mummy IMO. It's just excellent in every way and I love the horror vibe + I'm a sucker for pyro effects.

I said it'd be cool, I didn't say it was the best choice of ride system for what they were going for. It'd be very hard to incorporate the interactive elements they wanted too have on a fast paced ride like that, it's why something like Donkey Kong doesn't really have any on ride interactivity.

No I'm not. You are allowed to not like the attractions and have personal opinions but there are people here who treat the attractions as failures or missteps that comcast should be ashamed of which simply isn't the case, for example: In general most people who visit the land probably like...

Rip Ride Rockit Closing September 2025 - Replacement To Be Announced

That Fallon gift shop definitely gets a good amount of sales though, if anything it's just a great place to sell generic NBC merch but its always surprising to me how much Race Thru New York/Fallon specific stuff they have. I feel like the only reason they still have it 5+ years later is because...

Both Mario Kart and Donkey Kong are absolutely successful. People here like to confuse their personal wishes and opinions of the land with absolute fact and the general opinion of 99% of guests who go and it is absolutely not the case at all. SNW is one of the most successful lands built in...

Nintendo partnering with Universal to make attractions.

Yes you are partially correct, the USJ nintendo wasnt announced in the original announcement but shortly after. I got my timeline mixed up with when the walls in kidzone first went up, the correct timeline is: 2015 - Nintendo Partnership Announced 2016 - Nintendo announced for USJ June 2017 -...

No, that isn't true. Super Nintendo World was originally designed for kidzone and was going to open at USF first. They even had started putting walls up in kidzone then they decided to build Epic and took the walls down and put it there instead.

That has nothing to do with what I said though. I was responding to people like Donnie who insist that Nintendo World is some kind of big failure Comcast should be worried about. In the end, theme park enthusiasts look for different things in rides and lands than the General Public do, and I...

I'm sorry to tell you all this but I'm pretty sure Comcast sees all of Nintendo World as an outstanding success - especially Mario Kart. All they see is the $$$ that comes in from it.

You are absolutely hilarious. I'm sure Comcast is really angry and concerned that you don't like the recent additions as they sit in piles and piles of cash while their theme parks are more popular and profitable than ever before.

From what I've heard, it's probably around $6-7 billion, for reference Universal Beijing was $6.5 billion and is currently the most expensive theme park ever built, and they had to build out more infrastructure including their own citywalk and parking garage. Also have to remember that a lot of...

Epic Universe is going to be the most expensive theme park ever built. It is the complete opposite of cheap. It's a miracle this is even happening in Orlando of all places! This is something that would only get built in the Middle East or Asia in the modern day. It doesn't matter how much money...

Universal's food is still pretty bad

Universal's quick service restaurants are generally slightly more expensive than Disney and their table service restaurants are generally slightly less expensive than Disney. They are pretty close though. How dare you. That banner is one of the greatest things to ever grace a theme park. Disney...

Opening it in two phases in Japan probably didn't help with the public perception of this, but Donkey Kong was never meant to be the e-ticket of the area, Mario Kart is supposed to be that. It's kind of like a reverse Avenger's Campus situation.

I think it looks world class, and I'm very excited to ride it! I'm not trying to sell anything to anyone, I'm just simply stating my opinions and the general guest reactions too it. One thing that I personally think could've been executed better is the queue, it seems a little lacking in theming...

Well it's confirmed! Donkey Kong has finally opened in Osaka and it is an absolute smash hit, I can't wait to get on the Orlando version! I might also get a chance to ride the Japanese version shortly after epic universe opens too!
