Just watched this and I am BLOWN AWAY. I wish soooo badly Florida would get this! This ride is amazing. Maybe one day I will be able to go to Tokyo but I will keep wishing for a Florida copy 🙏🏻

I just don’t understand if the last public showings were in 1986 and then the ride was built in 1992, why did they decide to use this controversial theme to begin with? Honestly just curious!

Excited yet gutted. As someone who was born after the final public showings of Song of the South, Ive never associated the ride with the movie. I know the controversies make this a wise decision, but the loss of the nostalgia of splash mountain saddens me. RIP laughin place.

I hope you are wrong, but I sadly feel you may be right. I grew up watching Twilight zone on all major holidays with my mama, it will break my heart when it is no longer.

I shall never forget! No amount of screens can dim my love for live action movie scenes, aliens dropping down from the ceiling, and being transported into Munchkinland on the yellow brick road. Call me an old soul, but Disney just doesn’t do it like they used too.
