    where to park?

As others have said, parking at Epcot always worked best for us. Our MO was usually to park at Epcot and do another park in the morning. We would take Disney transportation to and from the a.m. park, return to Epcot and our car was already there. And if you go early enough you may get a good...

    2016 24-Hour Event at WDW

Does anyone know if they are having the 24 hour party this year at the Magic Kingdom the Friday of Memorial Day? I can't find any info, but they have done this the last 2 or 3 years.

Planning another trip, looking for advice.

Hello! Kudos to you for being a single dad. Not easy! September is a good time to go to Disney. They sometimes have a package at that time of year where you book the hotel and tickets and get dining free. Keep your eye out for that. They usually release that info in early May. You might try...

Food and Wine Festival Premium Package

Has anyone done the Food and Wine Festival Premium package for 2015? How does it compare with the 2014 version? We are going in a couple weeks and in researching it, it looks like last year's was much better. Thanks!

    The Hopper plan

We have been to Disney many, many times over the past 25 years and stayed on and off property. We have always gotten park hoppers! It is more expensive but gives you much more flexibility. We always went to one park in the morning at opening to ensure we could get on those popular attractions...

I have Disney Dining as a Facebook friend and enjoy that everyday. I also get emails from www.disneyinfo and love that too. My doses of daily Disney!

    Large Group Dining

We (a large parent group) are going to Orlando in May to watch our children participate in Performing Arts Onstage. We would like to have a group lunch or dinner (depending on the children's schedule) that isn't ridiculously expensive (we know Disney is pricey). There may be anywhere from 25-50...

    Group Dining Experience

Our high school music department is going to Disney in May for Performing Arts Onstage. There are about 150 kids and chaperones. We parents are thinking about having a group lunch or dinner but it's hard to find information. Most of the stuff I found is for weddings. Does anyone have experience...

    Marching Band question

Four years ago my husband and I drove a 26 foot Penske truck with our high school music department's equipment and luggage down to Orlando. The concert band and choirs had workshops at Epcot and performed at Downtown Disney. The marching band marched in Magic Kingdom. When the kids had workshops...

We took advantage of the free dining plan last Sept and we booked our trip May 8, soon after it was announced. The promotion ran for stay dates of mid-August through very early-October.

We do tip on the entire bill. I stated that in my comment.

    Tipping is this fair ?

I am sure most people back the tax out. We have 7% tax in NJ so that can add up! Thanks for your comment!

    Tipping is this fair ?

Although it is customary to leave a 15-20% tip on the entire bill here in the U.S., it is not disrespectful to not tip on alcohol. We always do because we are in fact being served regardless of the item. We ate at the Flying Fish Cafe in September and the bill would have been $350.00 had we not...

    Tables in Wonderland

We visited DisneyWorld in September 2014. At that time we upgraded our tickets to Annual Passes because we are going back in May to see our daughter perform with her high school band. We are thinking about purchasing Tables in Wonderland when we get there. We will be there for 5 days. My...

    Disney Visa---worth it??

Thanks for the info. Did not those facts about Chase. We were there during Food & Wine. I shouldn't have assumed those perks were there all the time!

    Disney Visa---worth it??

We are charter members of Disney VISA. Everyone is correct in that other cards have much better rewards, but we love our card. We booked a package in Sept 2014 and got 6 months of no interest. I think that was only for that package though. We go to Disney often enough for our card to be...

First Post . First visit since 1993

Sorry, one more thing. Don't get discouraged if you can't get lunch at Be Our Guest. Keep trying!! I tried everyday for months, then all of a sudden, about 3 weeks before our trip there was an opening. When you get there, look for a table in the West Wing! You won't regret it!

First Post . First visit since 1993

We love Disney and have been vacationing there since 1991. I sometimes miss those early days when you could just walk on and ride the same attraction 10 times in a row in the off season. However, there is so much more to do and so many more and better attractions, I wouldn't want to go back! You...

    Disney Quest...worth it?

We used to go to Disney every year and bought 10 day hoppers with no expiration and water parks and more fun. The extra add ons were inexpensive at the time, and we have enjoyed both the the water parks and Disney Quest. I think we still have a few visits left. Unfortunately, Disney has made the...
