    May 2021

Planning to take my family down literally one year from now. I have Disney $$$s expiring in November, so I was thinking of booking in August. If I book and then have to "tweak" the dates, would there be a fee?

Not sure where to post this

But I'm looking to write to Disney for a merchandise idea that I have, that would be great for them to have in time for the 50th anniversary next year (when my family plans to go). Does anyone know of where I could write with my idea? Thanks in advance for any help!!

    Cashing in Disney Visa $$$

So I have about $550 on my Disney Visa, some expiring in 2020. We don't plan to go until 2021. Is it possible to cash in those Disney $$$ for Disney gift cards? I know this has probably been asked a hundred times, but I'm too lazy to research it.

    Disney on a BUDGET

Yeah I know. Our last trip in 2015 was $4875, but only cost me $175 with all my Disney $$$s and gift card I bought at Target by cashing in my Discover $$$s. It took 6 years and a lot of work, and a couple of medical emergency crises, but hey, you do what you gotta do to get to Disney!!

I'm hoping she'd adopt her baby sister. I'm meeting her this weekend and letting her know I plan to stay at her Boca condo when we go down in January. What could be better than getting up in the morning and looking out of the balcony at the beach and ocean!!

Well I was hoping someone had some special Disney Magic idea that might make it work. People know a lot of tips and tricks on this website!!

It was me, not to discourage him from proposing because he would do it sooner, rather than wait, but encouraging him to save enough $$$ for a down payment on a condo before proposing. The thought of young newlyweds living with their parents can be pretty frightening!! But hey my oldest sister...

    Disney on a BUDGET

I'm giving serious consideration to skip the parks and just spend two days roaming around Disney Springs. Or maybe just one day in a park.

    Disney on a BUDGET

We started out staying at Low End, all the ALL Stars, graduated to POP, then to POR, and last time Coronado Springs. Hubby's favorite is POR, I'm not fussy as long as the room is clean. We go to the parks early and stay late.

I'm not including airfare (hopefully enough JetBlue points for free tickets). Just the Disney part needs to be $1000. Rental car would be only after we leave the parks, and staying with mom is FREE.

    Disney on a BUDGET

I'd settle for one of the budget hotels. Maybe just two days in the park. And two in Disney Springs. Haven't been since 2015 and I know how much its expanded since then.

She's not on WDWMagic, so letting the "secret" out of the bag here is safe.

Too bad that don't offer senior citizen discounts, as my husband is 69!!!

    Disney on a BUDGET

I could use my Disney Visa $$$s (currently $427), but was saving them for the BIG family trip in 2021. However, I could buy Disney gift cards through target and save 5% on each gift card???

    Disney on a BUDGET

My whole family will go in 2021. My oldest should have his doctorate and teaching, so going in late May after classes get out will make him available. My youngest son will be 26 and plans to "pop the question" to his then 24 year old girlfriend, somewhere in Tomorrowland where he will declare...

    Disney on a BUDGET

Exactly. While mom is still mobile and still has her sense of humor (and sometimes stubborn) personality, she would not be interested in going back to Disney.

    Disney on a BUDGET

So we have some home improvements we want to make this coming year, along with a nearly 3 week trip to Italy in July-August. We are headed to Florida in mid-late January for my mom's 100th birthday celebration. Is it possible to say spend 5 nights/3 days in the park for 2 adults for $1000? We...

Is there any restaurant (full service or counter) "In the Parks" that provide value ?

The salmon at Columbia Harbour House is a bargain, IMHO.
