I just read your whole trip report. All I got to say is, "So awesome." I'm in the process of planning my own trip with my brother and a friend of mine, and it can't come soon enough! :)

I know it would probably be cheaper to stay at a hotel off the grounds, but the resorts on the Disney grounds have the transportation to the parks. I'm thinking about s__________g it up and just paying the extra money so we can just take the bus, but what's the smarter move?

Well, the biggest thing is getting enough money first lol. We're still in the process of saving up.

My brother and a friend of mine decided that we would like to try to go to Orlando next year for about a week, possibly during Christmas break. I don't want to start planning too early, but when would be a good time to start?

The only problem with going over a weekend was that our plan was to stay for 5 days. We'd figured that Christmas break would be our best bet because at least the weather would be nice.

I haven't been to Disney since 2009, which was the same year Princess and the Frog came out. I was wondering if there was any character meet-and-greets at any of the parks or anything related?
