    Visiting Atlantis

We too have booked at the Comfort Suites and found that for 4 people it was cheaper that the ship excursion (even with the fees). Have a great time. Out boys, (age 3 and 7) loved it when we went. Niki

When is the best time to visit DISNEYLAND??

Thanks Muteki!! We will be staying at Disneys Grand Californian. Did you visit any other parks / attractions in the LA area?? How did it work with a rental car? Did you keep it while in the LA area? We have never rented a car - we live in GA and drive to WDW.

    RCI All Inclusive Rates

We are also RCI members for a different timeshare and I have checked into this. I have seen the All-inclusive resort fees from $600/pp and up. It really depends on where you go. No break for kids. We have never felt it was a good deal. Niki

    Stuck with DVC

We have sold 2 of our 4 contracts in the last 2 years. we had no problem. One of the contracts was on the market only 2 days. Of course we lost a bit as far as value, but the trips that those contracts paid for while we used them was worth the bit of loss. - Niki

    Coronado Springs or Port Orleans?

We just got back from our 1st ever stay at CSR and I have to say I was impressed. I loved the queen beds as well as the wooden door to the bathroom area. Our kids loved the pool. I though the food court offered many choices and was very good quality wise. It is more costly than others but we...

    MNSSHP and Rain?

We were there for the MNSSHP in 2005 when Hurricane Wilma hit. They cancelled all of the special stuff like villans stage how, Hallowishes and the parade. They did still do the candy passing out and characters but it was raining so hard that it would have been miserable. We asked guest...

    Waiting for ROFR!

We just sold 100 pts through the time share store. Seems that we got the answer about 7-10 days before the folks at timeshare store expected it. Hope that helps.

    Mickey's Halloween Party

It is a special event (hard ticket event). There is a halloween parade, hallowishes fireworks and a halloween stage show that is only shown during this event. There are also special character meet and greets throughout the park as well as "Trick or Treating" stations throughout the park...

    DINOSAUR..... what is it

We sort of "made" our oldest son ride at 6 yrs old. He was terrified. He is now 8 and still chooses not to ride it. It is dark, loud and there are some suprises that can scare kids. (sometimes they even catch me off guard). Hope that helps. Niki

    favorite quick service MK

Columbia Harbor House gets my vote. Love the fried chicken and fish strips. If Pinochio's Village Haus had not gotten rid of the Figaroa Fries that would be a close second but nothing compares to Columbia Harbor House now. :wave:Niki

My husband and I own our DVC but my family inherited 6 RCI timeshares from my grand parents when they passed. I regularly check the availability for Disney when I am searching other vactions on RCI and I have yet to see any weeks available as exchanges. They are always available as Extra...

    DVC: what am I missing?

Off topic but this seemed funny to me. I have been to Disney every year since I was born and since I have been an adult I have been at least 2 - 3 times a year. My husband and I bought our DVC prior to having children. Our kids are 4 and 8 now and I am sure we will use our DVC way after our...

    Best Deluxe with kids?

My boys are 4 and 8 and would say POLY !! They love it there. They love the monorail on site, the Volcano Pool and the beach to watch wishes at night. I love the almost romantic atmosphere at night with the torches lit around the grounds. By far my top choice although we dont stay there often...
