They don’t typically announce when it’s just that Tink won’t fly. I’m sure this performance of HEA will be without some lower-level pyro, in addition to Tink’s absence.
They weren’t referring to artistic changes over the life of the show’s run, I don’t believe. My interpretation was that they’re meaning the bare looking set will likely have much more life and sophistication expected of Cirque once we see it during performance, similar to how La Nouba was drab...
Well it would be difficult, but surprisingly given the age of the system, DACS is and always has been digital - just probably not in the way that we'd think of GUI terminals and controls for systems today. It stands for Digital Animation Control System.
Blue Sky involves planning with no real-world constraints. You can definitely have models with buildings that you’d want to build if you could during the Blue Sky phase. The video from Walt was essentially a hype video to drum up interest from companies and the public.
That doesn’t happen during peak times.
Trains are supposed to leave after 90 seconds or so. If someone pukes or there is otherwise a reason to close off a car, it happens and the appropriate CMs are dispatched, whether it’s maintenance or custodial. Custodial rides in the car through the loop...
With WDW Costuming, typically any CM can check out articles designated for either of the binary genders. I believe it is technically up to that location’s leadership discretion to allow it, but with costumes that really are essentially the same aside from color, it likely won’t matter. Still...
The sheer amount of people who yelled at me asking “Why can’t we just walk?!” when I would politely inform them that their monorail ride to the GF from MK would be about 20-30 minutes would beg to differ. Don’t even get me started on what would happen if there was a downtime...
This is the most likely case. Transportation CMs can be scheduled/pick up shifts/be extended into shifts that could be at all hours of the day and night, for anything from extended hours to overnight “spotting” shifts during maintenance and testing work.
The monuments themselves were destroyed. The images that were on them will be displayed somewhere outside the gates of the park, but we don’t know exactly where or in what fashion, except that it likely won’t be on the original metal plates.
This happens every once in a while if a CM leaves the gate unlatched, or if a guest just gets curious and goes up there on their own. The gate isn’t typically locked, as it’s an emergency exit. Once guests see a few people do it, other climb onto the bandwagon.
