@sloppy.joey Yes, Jingle Cruise is now in place! And I like the new stuff on Main Street. The old garlands obstructed views of the Castle too much, in my opinion. They were pretty though. As far as retractable garland, I don't think we will see that anytime soon. Would be cool though.

Does anyone know when the Christmas Lights are going to be taken off the Castle? I will be there on February 4th, and I do not want a crane in my pictures!

Ok, is it just me or does "LTM" seem to be the worst Disney campaign yet? The events are not announced EVERY Friday, and they do not seem to be anything worth advertising. Also, is this an addition to Let The Memories Begin or is that over now??????

Nothing to worry about. I was there the day after the Saints won the Super Bowl in 2010. It didn't really impact the crowds.

Ya, maybe next time before accusing someone of "Re" stating their opinion, you should look at the username and realize that their opinion was only given once. Also, I'm not saying that any of you are wrong for liking the new loop. Just trying to get people's honest opinion. :)

Changed on Monday, September 17th. It is now the horrible loop from Disneyland:( Please vote if you like the old one, maybe we can get Disney to change by popular demand =)

Just to see how many people agree with me... how many of you don't like the new Main Street USA Music Loop at the Magic Kingdom? In my opinion, there is no variety in the tunes and they don't sound like anything you would expect at WDW. How many others are on board?

Finally, after almost 6 months of scrims, There will soon be an unobstructed view down Main Street USA!!!!

Well I just got back from the Magic Kingdom after waiting almost 30 min for the monorail. There was a giant crane working on the castle today, as well as scrims all over the place. The entire park is in POOR condition, plus tinkerbell did not fly in Wishes!!!! It was not even windy!!!!! I can't...

Does anybody know what date all of the lights will be off the castle by? In recent years they have all been of by the 20th of January. I am heading down on the 23rd, and I DO NOT want to see the castle with that hideous crane working on it. It really would ruin the magic!

I'm not sure why everyone is so upset about an exterior refurbishment. When I was there in Feb. 2010, they were refurbishing the Exposition Hall, Ice Cream Parlor, back of the Train Station, and bottom part of the Castle all at the same time! And guess what..... I still had a GREAT time.

I'm not saying that theme parks should never change. The petition idea is a new thing called sarcasm. I am just as disgusted about our dysfunctional Congress as you are, however, this is a forum about WDW, not Washington DC. :ROFLOL:

The entire Magic Kingdom area will be decorated by November 6th. Hollywood Studios will most likely be the first park decorated by November 3rd. Epcot and Animal Kingdom usually wait until later in the month.

There is no truth to this rumor. I think we will have Wishes for at least another 2 years. Look at how long we had Fantasy in the Sky. BTW, Wishes is 8 years old, not 10.:)
