    Visitor Repetitiveness

I guessing the once and done at about 25%, the 4 years or so at 35% and the every 2 year's at 40%. There are a lot of folks that go every year or maybe more. We averaged once a year for about 6 years several years back but have cut back to the 3-4 year category the last couple of trips.

Recreate the 2005 Disney World Planning Video?

A great video for sure. I agree about Luke (the surfer dude). He tried way too hard to act cool instead of letting the rides speak for themselves.

Mission: Space -- How is it really?

My Wife loves to ride the Green Side and she is not a thrill junkie so the 3 of us usually stick with that. I can ride the Orange side but it gives me the tiniest headache.

Am I the only who ignores Universal?

Only done Universal once and it was OK but was not "hooked" by it. The next trip will be WDW only but might consider another trip to Universal in the future.

    OMG...How Much Did You Say.?..

I save for retirement (maybe not as much as I should). However, I don't want to be "rich and old" and not physically able to enjoy it so that's why we go to Disney and other places now.

Disney Offers A Park All To Yourself..

Magic Kingdom, Mid-December just after dark.

Do many not know about Columbus Day Crowds?

Like the Disvillian said, our school system went to this about 15 years ago with a 2 week break in October. We took advantage of it about 10 years ago and it seemed more crowded then than what I expected but probably not like it is now. Some of the colleges are even taking a mini Fall-Break...

    Grand Floridian Cafe Breakfast?

We are taking a mini-break in the middle of our upcoming December trip and having a late breakfast at the GFC. We ate there about 10 years ago and it was very good. We were planning on eating there on our 2010 trip but had to skip due to a last minute minor emergency.

    Will we regret Contemporary

We like them both. I prefer Contemporary's location and the room itself. I like the overall theme, food choices and value of the Wilderness.

    So crowded right now...

Some school systems have either a one week or two week "fall break." Our local system in Tennessee is in the middle of a two-week break now. They have been starting as early as the first of August and getting out the end of May basically giving only a 2 month summer vacation but a little more...

Things in Orlando (not the world) the proove you have arrived

Actually, seeing the airport in Atlanta from I-75 usually means I'm going to Disneyworld. Although I am in Atlanta area on a regular basis I never get that far South. Also, the entrance to the Florida Turnpike at Wildwood.

    The Bubble Theory..

If I lived close enough to make an annual pass worthwhile (within 300 miles) where I could visit a couple of days every month plus a week-long stay during the year I would stay off-site except for the week long stay. However, since we are now visiting for a week only about every 3 years I say...

Top 10 Most Desirable Disneyworld Resorts ?

We have only stayed at 5 different resorts in our dozen on-site visits since 1996. I would ranked them as follows: 1) Grand Floridian 2) Wilderness Lodge 3) Contemporary 4) Animal Kingdom Lodge 5) Caribbean Beach (The only one of the 5 I wouldn't stay at again) We are staying at the...

    captain eo closing ?

I don't personally care for it but for some reason my daughter digs it. If it's still there in December I guess I will suffer through.

    Michael the Singing Waiter

He would be about approximately 60 now and was starting to gray back then. Slim build and about 5 foot 10 I would guess.

    Michael the Singing Waiter

For several years in the early 2000's there was a waiter named Michael who worked at the Crystal Palace who would break out into song (sometimes improvised, sometimes favorite tunes). We did not see him in 2007 or 2010. Does anyone know if he is still there or is he at another restaurant? I...

    Crystal Palace (Breakfast or Dinner)

I'd go for breakfast due to the cost difference compared to dinner. Also, you would be in the park before opening and probably wouldn't need any lunch that day either.

Pecos Bill's because of the fixin's.

    misery at DHS

When you only have 3 main attractions, Toy Story, TOT, and RNRC everybody flocks there. The other attractions were probably in single digit minute wait times.

Are there ANY "negatives" about Disneyworld in your mind?

I still drink the Disney Kool-aid but they are about to price themselves out of my business. We used to be once a year visitors from 1999-2005 but that has been gradually been increasing to 2 or 3 years. We are booked for December of this year after visiting in July 2010 and probably won't be...
