    Forgot to make Dining Reservations

For sure check at an information kiosk once you get to the park. We wanted to dine at a restaurant in Epcot for dinner that night. The CM was able to pull up all the available times and we got to choose... we got Les Chefs de France! You never know!!

Waking up in Disney ......Nothing like it!

For me, it's being in a place where you WANT to be, and knowing that everyone else there feels the same way!!! It IS the happiest place on earth!!

Is Disney addictive like a drug to you?

Whew! Thought it was just me....:animwink:

    Pick A Character Breakfast

Chef Mickey's has great character interaction. Felt like we had as much time as we wanted with them. It does get a little loud, so take that into consideration when you decide. Have fun with your little one, that is the sweetest age!! my avatar pic is Chef Mickey's!

Chef Mickey or The Crystal Palace

Goodness! See, I KNEW I was forgetting someone! And Goofy is my 21 yo son's very fave (He grew up addicted to "The Goofy Movie"!) Thanks for the reminder... the memory brings a smile :)

Chef Mickey or The Crystal Palace

I too recommend Chef Mickey's! The character interaction is awesome... Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Pluto (I may have left someone out!?) come to each table and stay as long as necessary to greet each person, sign autographs and take whatever pictures you want... it made the "Disney"...

Cinderella RT will not accept Dining Plan online?

Sorry... thought that was it! I have read on other posts that IF they charge your card beforehand, and you are on the DDP, they will refund you when you reach the restaurant. Have a great trip!!

Cinderella RT will not accept Dining Plan online?

I just re-read your original post and I think I might see the problem now... Did you book your reservation with a QS dining plan? If so, there would be no TS vouchers available for the CRT reservation. Upgrade your dining plan, THEN make your reservation... I bet that'll make the...

Cinderella RT will not accept Dining Plan online?

I booked my Cinderella RT dinner reservation online, and I too have the DDP. Although I had to enter a CC # to complete the reservation, it was only to hold the reservation and in case we don't show up. It has been 2 months since I booked, and there has been no charge to my credit card. Are...

Victoria and Alberts July 30, 2010

Wow... thanks for the "peek" inside that awesome restaurant. We probably won't ever have a meal there, as we will always go with our family (five kids!) but, at least I know what I'm missing! Great pics!

    Reservations

Disney made the rules... not us. I would love to be able to choose which park I want to go to on a day by day basis, when I wake up. But, the fact is that that's not the way the system works. IF you want to eat at a TS restaurant, you have to have an ADR. It is what it is. So we plan...

Could we have handled this better?

Me, too!! I think it might be the most perfect "princess" cake I've ever seen!

    Reservations

Really?!? I was just addressing this issue on another blog site, and the overwhelming majority agreed... Double booking ADR's ruins it for everyone, EXCEPT the selfish person that makes them. This is why the honest guy, trying to make ressies even 180 days out, can't book a meal at their...

Any of those Disney Secrets type books good?

I highly recommend "the Hidden Magic of Walt Disney World" by Susan Veness. It if full of "secret" things to look for in the parks. It made me realize how highly Disney values DETAILS! It was so much fun carrying it to the parks each day and looking for all of the "secrets"!

    Reservations

While in HS during our last trip, we decided to see if we could get a TS for that evening in Epcot. We walked up to an information Kiosk (somewhere on Sunset Blvd) and the CM was able to book us a table at Les Chefs for that night! You could try that each day from whatever park you are in.

Designated Smoking Areas - Do they need to be more secluded?

While at WDW last year with a "smoker", we just carried a park map with us. The designated smoking areas are clearly marked on the park maps. We had a little trouble finding a few of them, but I must say that all in all, they were mostly quiet and a relaxing break from the masses! I just...

    online vs. call.....

I booked all our ADR's for December online this time... even CRT, and it was simple! Very reassuring to go the the Disney website, click on "My Reservations" and there they are... with confirmation #'s and everything!!

    Fave restaurant in World Showcase?

I "second" the recommendation for Les Chefs. We ate there on a last minute "whim" for dinner, and it was one of the best meals of our 6 night trip! We had a late reservation and were able to see Illuminations through the windows in the dining room... it was quite "magical"!
