Solo Trip May 2019

Getting close...22 days...

9 months or more. Right now I am planning a trip for September 2019.

The distance from where I live in Ohio is 968 miles. Since 1996, I have been to at least one park every year except 2016. Hurricane Matthew prevented our short trip last year.

Fingers are crossed. Only 6 more days until my next visit. Last year's 2016 visit was cancelled because of Hurricane Matthew.

My first missed year (2016) since 1996. But I have plans for WDW in 2017.

June 1996. Hadn't missed a year until this year (2016).

The airline is going to charge me the price difference to fly into another city and the price is about $200 per ticket. Thought about driving but the drive is about 16+ hours, and I would need to leave Friday.

Since this year's trip had to be cancelled because of Hurricane Matthew, 246 days and counting again. :(

We are flying into Orlando on Saturday afternoon. We are hoping the airport will be open too. With all that wind and rain on Friday, who knows what condition the airport will be. :grumpy::grumpy: If we cannot make it down Saturday, we'll have to cancel the trip. :cry::cry:

Southwest has started cancelling 4:00 pm and later flights into Orlando for Thursday.

Our flight lands late afternoon on Thursday. Perhaps I should say, may land.:cry: Keeping my fingers crossed. Matthew keep heading EAST!!!

4 Days unless Hurricane Matthew won't let us into Florida.:mad:
