Moderate vs. Value - I need an analysis

Go with a Moderate. There will be a noticeable difference in the level of peace and quiet in your stay, and that can make all the difference in the World for your vacation. Actually, I've found the Moderates (especially Coronado Springs) a more relaxing stay than the Deluxes.

Pop Century resort VS. Moderate resort "fun factor"

The additional room, theming, bigger pools, and on-site restaurant options are well worth the pricing difference between Value and Moderates for me. Plus, I find it much more fun with no noisy tour groups!!!

    Thoughts On The Wave Restaurant

It was one of our favorite restaurants during our last stay. Food is much better quality than we expected.

any one stayed off Disney property and saved?

A Disney vacation is only a Disney vacation staying on property for our family. Will never do it any other way.

    Cornado Springs Dining question

We were at the Coronado for a week in June, and ate at the Pepper Market and Maya Grill. The Maya Grill was pretty good, not the best meal we had at WDW, but we would go back. The Pepper Market still has a lot of options, plus there is the snack shop that always has sandwiches, pizza, gelato...

    Fantasmic! Dinner Package

Highly recommended - - we used the package when we went in June. Had dinner at Hollywood & Vine, they gave us a yellow (golden?) ticket, and we walked to the front of the line, to the reserved seating section. I heard people who didn't have reserved seating waiting 1.5-2 hours in line to get...

    Coronado Springs Questions

We requested (and stayed in) Casitas 1 for a week in June, and had a great time. Casitas puts you farther away from the pool, but you are right next door to the restaurants. We loved CSR.

CSR or CBR which do you like best?

Having stayed at Deluxes previously, our trip to the Coronado in June was a welcome surprise. We really liked this resort, and the rooms were very comfortable. Cost was half of previous Deluxe resort stays. Also, VERY quiet at night, something I can't say about our last stay at the Contemporary.

    ADR on Fantasmic show night

We did the Fantasmic Package (w/Hollywood & Vine) and the latest time they would allow for dinner with the package was 5:30pm. Even though you have a reserved seat (thank goodness!) they know you need plenty of time to get there in advance for Fantasmic. When we finished dinner and started...

    Room rehab at CSR

That's strange, we had an unrefurbished room in Casitas 1 (wanted to be close to the restaurants) and it was great. Both the newer and older rooms have the same southwest motif, so don't understand your complaint with the appearance. I'll agree there's no excuse for a dirty room, though.

Walt Disney World is the greatest place on earth

That's why am I reading this website daily since we left WDW on June 16th (after 8 day vacation)? I am still in awe of our trip - - greatest vacation place on earth!

    How is WDW Doing Economically?

Disney will be fine. We spent 8 days in early/mid-June, and the place was packed. On our flight down, the family next to us was going to Universal because they couldn't get a room at Disney. Parks were packed every day. It was our third trip in 10 years (we hadn't been in 6 years) and I...

    I have a dilemma

We just got back from a week at CSR, and the rooms were great. We've stayed at the Contemporary previously, but really liked CSR. I don't see a noticeable size difference (I'm aware of the difference in square footage) in usable space between them.
