    I’m most curious to see if the domestic box office for 2025 equals 2024 when inflation is factored in. After this weekend, it’s going to be about 1.5-2% ahead of 2024 in flat numbers.

    It’ll be interesting to see how it compares to Moana 2 last year, domestically. First Zootopia was pre-pandemic so it’s hardly worth comparing those numbers.

    I live to be surprised but I just don’t see Zootopia doing Moana 2 numbers. I know Moana was the top streaming movie on Disney for years. Does Zootopia have similar streaming popularity?

    2025 domestic box office YTD is about 3% ahead of 2024. Imagine if Wicked had been released last year as one film as originally planned. It’ll be worth seeing it Wicked 2, Zootopia 2, and Avatar 3 can equal the work of Wicked 1, Moana 2, and Mufasa in 2024
