We went there a few months ago. The changes were....shocking. I really miss the days of TurtleTrek. I'm grateful I have my memories of working there.

I don't know if character performers are trained individually, currently. It feels like it would be more efficient to train as a group.

My answers are based on training from 2007(!), so it may have changed by now. But back then, we were trained as a group. I think our training group may have combined CPs and non-CPs? (But most of my group were CPs.) We were Global Entertainment, so we could be scheduled at any of the parks...

I first noticed this change on Sunday. I used them on every visit to the park and did not see a single one this week at any of the parks or Disney Springs. Really enjoyed them while they lasted, but I get it.

Thankfully, WDW isn't using the biometric scanners at the moment. You just scan your MB or card and wait for the Mickey head to turn green. I hope they keep it this way forever.

I know, right?? This new security check gives me much more relief, and I even look forward to it (i.e., how easy it is compared to previous versions). That and not having to put your finger on the biometric scanner makes park entry an absolute breeze.

It used to be where you had to remove metal water bottles, sunscreen, and umbrellas out of your bag and hold them in front of you as you walked through, but that is no longer the case (yay!). :)

We went to MK last night and the Evolv Express scanners at TTC were in place. :D Sorry, no pictures, feel weird about taking pictures at security areas. Now all 4 WDW parks have them (woo hoo!).

The technical answer is yes, reservations are required. They do not always check, though.

The only WDW ride evac I've been on so far was the very last ride of Ellen's Energy Adventure. Such a neat experience. (I actually enjoy ride evacs.)
