    Hurricane Isaac

I was in Epcot today, posting from my BC room now. It was very rainy early on, but it eased up and left by about noon. Nothing too impressive.

    Celebrities in Walt Disney World

We were staying at the BW in 2008 while the Beijing Olympics were ending. Michael Phelps came straight to WDW from leaving Beijing for the hero parade the next day in MK, so we saw him there. BUT, the day before, my family was relaxing alone in the BW quiet pool when some tall, superfit (almost...

    Spaceship Earth Garage

Ugh. Steve Jobs did not even write computer code. They always said that particular AA was just supposed to be representative of all the early computer programmers of the time. In any logical sense, though, it's definitely Woz. They might as well replace Earth at the top of SE with the Moon or...

HGTV's new series "My Yard Goes Disney,"

In that picture with all the people, second from the bottom... what on earth is going on with the navy-blue-shirt-guy's arm?

    Boardwalk Bus Question

I've stayed at the Boardwalk for the past 4 years! Great choice. :) They're right, but you also might want to know that the bus from AK (and I think possibly DD) are for Boardwalk, Swan, Dolphin, Yacht Club, AND Beach Club (redonk), and on these buses, they usually stop at Yacht/Beach first...

    Duffy Bear?

Lol, I thought the name sounded like a dollar store ripoff of Mickey Mouse at first, but now that I see him, I like him. I want one! I'm a sucker for Japanesey stuff anyway (kawaii desuuu~~ zerg rush). Wait, whoa. Unless he goes by some other name, he doesn't have a Wikipedia article. Mind BLOWN.

Has Disney ruined other parks for you?

Pardon me, as I'm sure this has been discussed before... I've visited places like Six Flags Great Escape since I was little (before I had gone to WDW or at least before I could remember), and I recently went to Dorney Park, but having experienced the atmosphere, service, magic, and overall...

Boardwalk Villas vs. Caribbean Beach for family with 4 year old and 16 month old...

YES, it is so worth it. Not only for the reasons that you mentioned, but the Caribbean Beach has a really confusing layout, whereas the Boardwalk is much simpler and indoors. Your 4-year-old would also probably love all the entertainers on the Boardwalk. And, of course, its location is prime.

    Via Napoli experience?

A little late, but oh well, I just had to share some pictures of my family's lunch at Via Napoli at 8/28. The place is beautiful (and lit juuuuuust right during the day) and the food was fantastic: Blood orange fresca-something. My pepperoni pizza! And is that a HM I...

Toyko Dining? What do folks think?

I've never had a problem like that at Tokyo Dining. It's one of my favorites, if not my favorite, restaurant in all of WDW. The entire experience is fantastic. We never wait for more than five minutes. The view is gorgeous, but I prefer the mood screen-thing. The wait staff is so genuine, quick...

Maelstrom and Other Lackluster Queue Lines.

:dazzle: I love both of their queues. Especially the blue and orange areas of Soarin' and the blue and gold room in MP.
