    MNSSHP Sold-Out Tickets

You were correct! We woke up at 6am and went to our Lobby and were able to score two. They said on-site gets about 500 day-of between the three hotels.

    MNSSHP Sold-Out Tickets

Hey Friends -- Heading to Grand Californian tomorrow and plan on making my first Disneyland and DCA visit Friday/Saturday. Originally we weren't going to pay for the Halloween event, but are now wishing we could. Is there any method to buy sold out tickets? I checked Stub Hub, but no luck. Thanks!

World of Color or Fantasmic! Dining Package

One last question: Are the seats and process for F! good? Just secured at Cafe Orleans which has a pass for the first viewing. Thanks!

World of Color or Fantasmic! Dining Package

Good to know! I'll try giving a call as it seems worth it to be guaranteed F! seating.

World of Color or Fantasmic! Dining Package

Hey Friends -- We're off to Disneyland September 22nd and 23rd for our first trip and are currently booking dining. Unfortunately the Blue Bayou on the 23rd is booked entirely (even outside of the dining package), but i'm hoping to keep an eye on it. We have the option of doing the lunch or...

Let us know if you think it was worth it - thanks!

Guide to DLR for WDW Veterans!

Another Question: Are the Halloween parties at Disneyland worth the price increase? I've been to MNSSHP in WDW and enjoyed it, but not sure it warrants it with only 2-3 days at the parks.

    WDW Regular Visiting DLR

I've read through a good portion of @GiveMeTheMusic 'Disneyland thread so feel somewhat prepared now. Does anyone have any Disneyland / DCA youtube videos they found particularly helpful?

    WDW Regular Visiting DLR

Additional question: Were would you recommend for a clean hotel moderately priced for one night? We're now debating flying in late on Wednesday night and staying somewhere before our three nights at Grand Californian. This would allow us to do three days in the parks. Thanks!

Guide to DLR for WDW Veterans!

We arrive Thursday AM and leave Sunday afternoon. Staying at the Grand Californian, so planned on spending Thursday / Sunday morn there and focus on the parks Friday and Saturday. May end up caving and going on Thursday too! Thanks for the advice.

Guide to DLR for WDW Veterans!

Thanks! I could have 2 1/2, but not sure I can justify adding on a 3rd day to my ticket for only a half day in the parks.

Guide to DLR for WDW Veterans!

WDW vet visiting Disneyland. Will two days suffice? One day Disneyland and one day California Adventure?

    WDW Regular Visiting DLR

Thanks for the updates - interesting to hear crowds may be moderate. Excited to hear Halloween starts that early!

    WDW Regular Visiting DLR

Update and new questions: - We were able to use points to book Grand Californian but it is via the hotel not the villas. Is there a downside to this (besides more points)? - We will be going September 20th - will Halloween stuff be out? Are there any nice aspects of this timeframe besides low...

    WDW Regular Visiting DLR

Perfect - thanks. How far out do you have to book these? I know for WDW popular spots, it's pretty far out.

    WDW Regular Visiting DLR

Appreciate the input. I'll look into SFO / Oakland to John Wayne tonight then.

    WDW Regular Visiting DLR

I luckily have the flexibility of flying out of SFO or Oakland. Looking at flight prices, Oakland to Long Beach seems to be the best cost-wise and convenience, so i'll likely be going that route. I'll look into John Wayne, but didn't see too many flights there. Thanks for the tips!

    WDW Regular Visiting DLR

Hey Folks-- Background: My partner and I are regular WDW visitors frequently using DVC points. We have now re-located to Northern California and will be planning a trip to Disneyland. Neither of us have been since we were little and know relatively little about the parks / hotels. When /...
