How have i not had anything here???

Tell me about the drinking chocolate! I love hot chocolate and frozen hot chocolate. But we did a chocolate tasting at Hershey Park. The chocolate was more bitter than we are used to and it just got to be too much. And we both prefer dark over milk chocolate. Should I try this or skip it?

    Secrets, tricks, overlooked details

Those are always fun! Totally unrelated, but when we were in the Orlando airport waiting for our plane, my mom had taken ds4 to one of the airport shops. He came back excited about the pixie dust in the floor! This one shop has sparkles in the floor. It looks pretty cool and I...

what is your favorite park in walt disney world?

Before kids, definitely Epcot. Now that I have two preschoolers, it's gotta be the Magic Kindom. 'Cause it's all about the kids now! :D

    Funniest Things Seen by CMs

 My mom knows most of the "basic" characters but for some reason she kept calling Fairy Godmother, Mother Goose. We still tease her about that one.

    Finding Cinderella....

Make sure you see Cinderella's Surprise Celebration. It's a live show in front of the castle, held several times a day. There are alot of characters for this, and many stay around for photo ops afterwards. Unfortunately the princesses don't stick around but it is a great opportunity to see...

    Real-Life Disney Commercial Experiences

Yessssssss! Last month was our kids' first trip to WDW. The first evening we went to Epcot and stayed for Illuminations. My ds4 is usually afraid of everything so we weren't sure how he would do with all the noise of the fireworks. Happy surprise, he was entralled by it! Here's the scene for...

    Security Checks At Orlando Airport

We went in mid-March and had no problems. We did have a rental car though, so we rode in on the Hertz shuttle bus. They had curbside checkin and everything. We actually spent alot of time waiting at the airport because we got through so much quicker than we expected. However, I'm sure they...

    Ride Opinion: Great Movie Ride

I am not a movie buff but the Great Movie Ride is my favorite. I think that whole Munchkinland scene from Wizard of Oz did it for me. One tidbit I learned during the pre-show, the CM said during "singing in the rain", they were really singing in milk. I guess it showed up better on...

    details of Cindy's breakfast

Dixiegirl you need to make your PS EXACTLY 60 days in advance of the day you will be dining at the castle. It won't necessarily be 2 months, so count the days off on your calendar. Plus there are websites out there that will calculate the exact date you need to call. I would start on the...

What do I HAVE to see or do on my next trip?

I voted for American Adventure, for two reasons. 1. Voices of Liberty is outstanding. 2. WTC flag on display However, I also have to say that "Food Rocks" rocks! We went in because my ds4 was dying to see it. He was so excited he made up a dance and cheer before we ever got into the...

    Illuminations Concern

We were actually fortunate enough to watch Illluminations twice during our recent stay. The first time we saw it, we thought it was the finale, a great spectacle of fireworks. Then it all quieted down and the song began, more fireworks, and THEN the finale. :sohappy:

    Illuminations Concern

Within the past 3 or 4 weeks? They didn't say much, just "because GE brings good things to light..." and then say how many minutes til Illuminations would begin.

Your Favorite ______ at the American Adventure

Another vote for Voices of Liberty! This time we ran out of time and did a quick zoom through Epcot, just spending enough time in each country for my kids to do the kidcot stuff. One thing I made sure to make time for, though, is the WTC flag on display in American Adventure. It is not...

    Illuminations Concern

We were just there Mid-March. I hadn't seen it since '96 and I thought this one was so much better. It was really enjoyable. They do present it from GE.

    What would YOU do?

We had a similar experience. By the time we got situated our first day, we arrived at Epcot at 5:00. We had time for dinner, 3 or 4 attractions and Illuminations. While it wasn't alot of time, it was a great way to start our vacation. My kids (ages 3 &4) woke up the next day asking to go...

    Favorite Sounds at WDW

I am such a mommy :) my favorite sounds revolve around my children. I love listening to my kids spontaneously burst into song, and discover they're singing songs from shows we've seen earlier in the day "Mommy, why is she (CM) being so nice to me?" DS4's excited comments at...

That's just a shame. I hope he didn't get reported, it's an innocent mistake. Sounds like something I would do.

    Fighting in WDW

They have changed the speeds of the motorized carts. My dad used one twice when we went last week. He walks EXTREMELY slow and the cart was even slower than him walking.
