    Tomorrowland evacuation

CNN is reporting that DL Tomorrowland is being evacuated due to an unattended backpack.

Worried @ early Dec trip timing!

It's better to go early in December than later. I stayed until the last Saturday before Christmas in 2008. Crowds were reasonable, but shot through the roof on that Saturday with a 100 minute wait at Buzz Lightyear!

    Movies or Music?

Music is bad during Disney's Magic Music Days. Every band and chorus decides they need to stay there. Similar for sports teams and All Star Sports. After doing the comparison from personal experience, I'd rather pay the extra for a moderate to avoid the crowds at the all stars.

    San Angel Inn Updates?

I just want to know if I am still eating lunch there next Sunday...somebody please tell me if it has closed or not...

    San Angel Inn Updates?

So I called WDW-DINE yesterday (May 2) and the reservation person was very adamant that San Angel was going to be open on May 17th for lunch. I asked four times. I've never tried this, Marrakesh, Four Dragons or Bistro de Paris, but wanted to knock another one out this trip. Has the refurb...

Magic Kingdom closed to ALL guests due to reaching absolute capacity (phase 4)

I remember seeing ropes and stanchions outside Imagination before. Unfortunately that was my first visit, when the Dreamfinder was still there along with Horizons and World of Motion, when UoE wasn't Ellenized, and Living Seas was still under construction.

    May AP Room Discounts

I'd love to know if there's a listing of current AP discounts. I want to go down in March, May, or June and the discounts will play into that decision.

    Terrible Disney Stories

Weekend night. Packed bus from one of the resort hotels to Downtown Disney? A bunch of small kids on the bus...who weren't the problem. The problem...a drunk bachelor party talking like they didn't know that the bus was a family show. I hadn't heard so many four letter words in such a short...

    Wishes vs MVMCP?

Would you really want to watch fireworks at 6:30 or 7pm? It's not even dark enough to appreciate them!

Ellen's Energy Adventure refurbishment in 2009

I've always been disappointed in the new version, and LOVED the original even when I was 7. The Radok blocks were amazing, the mirrored light show at the end was incredible, and the the old pavilion actually focused on science. Now Ellen just glosses over the energy science for lame jokes...

    WDW Main Street Holiday Village

The holiday village I started collecting last year had a train station, several buildings on main street, and the Haunted Mansion. I called Disney and they said it was discontinued. Does anyone know anymore about this, or any alternative sources to purchase buildings in this set?

    Disney Train Tour

This was hands down the best tour I've taken at Disney so far. 1. Get there early! I thought I had to be there at 8, so I got there at 725. Turns out it was 730. We left behind several people who missed the tour start time. 2. Eat before hand. I don't remember much of a break except to...

    Five Year Plan

Even if I hadn't read Jim Hill's recent article, I would be reticent to believe that Disney wasn't going to put any unnecessary projects on hold until the economy shakes out. Disney is a profit making company first and foremost, and spending a ton of money on new attractions and parades when...

Fort Wilderness - no tent, no car

Buying a tent is no biggie to me. I'm just interested in getting more value out of my AP by going more often. Flights round trip are around $290 for me. It's a tight economy. I've done the All Stars, and even then they were just a place to sleep. Any ideas other than DVC for getting more...

Fort Wilderness - no tent, no car

So I've got an annual pass, and don't mind sleeping on the ground. I've kicked around the idea of throwing a sleeping bag and a suitcase together, hopping on a plane, and just taking magical express over to Fort Wilderness. Does anyone know if they rent out tents, and how safe do you think it...

    New FP Distribution Rules

Why would anyone need an FP for Stitch? I've never seen a line for the show (and quite frankly, if there was one, I'd skip it).

    Fort Wilderness storing valuables

Thanks Hey all, Thanks for your feedback so far. My friends think I'm nuts for even debating this, but since it's just me, I figure I can stay on property twice as long at FW as opposed to the All Stars. This way I might even justify an annual pass and flying down from DC four or five times...

    Fort Wilderness storing valuables

I've been searching all over the place for this info. I have been debating throwing a tent, sleeping bag, and clothes in a duffle bag, hopping on a plane to Orlando, taking the magical Express to Fort Wilderness, and tent camping. If I go into the parks, I'm worried about if my stuff will get...
