I love the idea of putting it next to rock n roller coaster and making a mini land. As others have said, it needs to retain all the elements though. Don’t even bother putting it anywhere if you are going to just put a 3-d movie up with none of the special effects.

Slinky is popular because it falls into a sweet spot at studios of a ride that a lot in the family are willing to do. Young kids will ride it and it’s a popular franchise.

Has there been any rumblings of a second monsters attraction being bult with the new land? Has there been any precedent for Disney opening a new land with only one ride? Maybe a retheme of muppets to monsters inc?

I know a few years back they had a pop up bar inside one of the merchandise shops up there and it didn’t set the world on fire so I don’t know that I would necessarily see a bar going in. There was also internal talk a few years ago about making it a place where you could buy poutine.

Filler attractions that nobody rides are not balancing out capacity, they are just taking up valuable real estate.

I think most people find the idea of the riverboat redundant when they come across the lagoon to magic kingdom on a big boat from ttc. I get it, it’s a paddle wheel boat but the average person isn’t a boat enthusiast. They are just seeing, oh it’s another big boat, I already rode one of those today.

The concept art for cars AND villains shows a lot of water features. They even talk about slashing in puddles on the cars ride. There will be plenty of water effects for the water they are replacing.

I love this and it’s the thing I’m most excited for that was announced. I think it looks amazing and will make a great addition to the park.

This is definitely a great change. All I have wanted to do from the old system is be able to make my 3 fast pass selections and time them out so I can go to the park for a few hours, hit my three rides, get some lunch and head out. So if this is basically the old system now behind a paywall...

Good ol Laughing Place Spirit and WDW1971 loves to pretend like he’s doing everyone a favor and gracing us with his presence. This. If you ask 100 people what their favorite ride of their vacation was its going to be Guardians, Tower of Terror, Rise, Flight of Passage, etc. with maybe 10 of those people saying something like SSE or Carousel of Progress. The other rides are a nice complement to those major experiences...

Villains at DHS would make sense as they have been try to have premium events at that park for a long time. The Halloween parties at MK sell out almost every event, you could do something with Villians at DHS for Halloween and increase event capacity by doing a Villians party on opposite nights...
