Although Paris is only allowed to use low level pyro, they do have big pyro for two days. For the Bastille Day fireworks (big shells) they do have also drones so that is no excuse for not using them at the MK. Maybe the weather might be, as they don't use the drones if it is raining or windy...

In Paris they close Fantasyland and part of the area of Adventureland near the rooftops where they launch fireworks. That has always been the case with or without drones. They don't need to close those parts of the park for the drones. it's for the fireworks only

If they plan to have a daily nighttime show like they had since 2012 (Dreams and Illuminations), I don't believe they can use the new launch pads and big shells, even if they have moved them to the sides. Well, after some delay due to the cold weather, scaffolds are amost all in place. Just the top part of the castle missing. Additionally, the themed tarp is being installed already in the bottom of the castle. (pictures from @InsideDlpCastle)
