While I too, appreciate the frustration of ticket holders who would be annoyed by straggling day guests I also seem to remember Disney allowing party goers in at 4 pm for tickets that are for 7 pm! Going by that reasoning I do think that 15 min. past park closing is a bit soon to be restricting...

There is a reason the room rates at the deluxe resorts are higher. It pays for the amenities supplied to the guests of that hotel. Anyone else thinking they are "beating the system" by getting in by an unauthorized way is actually taking something they did not pay for. I relate this to the same...

I agree on the planning time frames, but they doesn't mean they wouldn't put plans on hold given the climate.

I wouldn't hold my breath for ANYTHING new in hotels or DVC for at least two years (if then). This economic thing is going to take years to work it's way through. I would be shocked if Disney is able to sell anything at the Contemp. DVC, let alone the rest of SS or AKL. Credit is locked down...

The standard Contemp. rooms w/2 queens plus the couch that folds down into a twin size would work. Most Boardwalk rooms also have a shorter (crib-mattress sized) daybed. We have stayed at both and they worked well for our younger kids.

I thought the orange France slushie was great, and could have used a little stronger kick IMO. But I found that to be true for most drinks at WDW.:wave:

So true! I also couldn't believe how she went on and on about having the kids pick ONE souvenir or the parents biting their nails while JR. decided btwn. a $2 lollipop or a princess dress!! I'm so sure that's a choice her kids have had to make!:brick:

It's Passover that week. We were there during Passover in '05 & it was BUSY (Not as bad as Christmastime though)

Just wondering how big the reservation window is for TS. i.e. How long will they honor your res. if you're running late? Also can incomplete parties be seated?

Anyone know why MK is closing at 7pm on May 6? There isn't a PP party or grad night then. Are they keeping it open to add another PP party?

According to the crocs website, the newer maryjane style mickey head crocs for girls are supposed to be compatible w/jibbitz. The original mickey head crocs aren't compatible w/jibbitz.

Room only code? Any guesses/predictions for release of room only codes for the same time period? We can't do a dining plan this time since DH will be at a conference for 1/2 the trip. We also have to hope that any room only codes will include the asm suites!:animwink:

I seem to remember from our last trip seeing Disney Jibbitz for Crocs at kiosks in the parks. Does anyone know where you can buy these at the parks? The Easter Bunny is bringing Disney crocs for our two girls for our May trip but I'm trying to decide if Jibbitz should be already attached or...

Elevators? We're thinking of staying in the ASM suites this May. Just wondering if the buildings have elevators? Much easier w/strollers & luggage to have elevators, otherwise we might request first floor.

If you think you will be using the pool a lot you may want to consider the Yacht/Beach Club. The have both regular hotel rooms and up to 2 br villas which sleep 8. Their pool is also the best on property for small kids (IMO). It's a wade-in pool w/ a sandy bottom. Almost like being at the beach...
