What do you thing the worst waste od space is in WDW?

I agree. Disney has proven that they can improve on established stories already - look at the Haunted Mansion. I think they've added some good elements to it. Why couldn't they do that with 20K? I hear a lot of people still talk about that while in the park.

    All DHS, all the Time

Yea, why not? They have Nemo at Epcot at the Seas and at AK in the musical. I'm sure that they could spread Pirates around a little bit. The franchise is doing well anyhow. I agree - anything and everything Hollywood should be the focus. That's why I love the Studios, because I love movies.

Weight time vs. wait time...should disney be setting a better example?

Guest Assistance Cards are available from Guest Relations. They are helpful to have just in case a disability is not visibly evident. I'm not sure what the requirements are to request one, but if you have a disability and you are not in a wheelchair, it will help identify to cast members that...

WDW Picture of the Day (Part 4)

^ Actually, it's a part of the TTA ride. I believe you see it once you go past Space Mountain.

    Nice Disney Smells

The most famous smell that I know of is the smell of waffle cones coming from Edy's Ice Cream on Main Street in MK. And of course, the Main Street Bakery.

Universal becoming more popular than Disney?

I agree. Besides, competition with Universal is in Walt's history anyway. Believe me, I'm sure that there is no manager or Imagineer at WDW is lax in their concern about how US is doing or what they are coming up with. It's just that some things take time to develop. I'm pretty sure they are...

Would a thrill ride 5th gate spell the end to Universal?

I'm not sure. If Disney does it right from Imagineering conception to execution, it just might heat up the debate even more. I still think a villians park/area would work, if done right of course. Just my humble opinion. :)

    Year of a Million Nightmares

Makes me wonder why Disney just doesn't build their own "Disney World" in Brazil... :lookaroun I'm sure they'd make tons of money...

Ok, people, I know when I'm not in the majority.

Why so much hostility towards pixar?

I don't know if this has been mentioned already, but with Disney putting out traditional animated films like Aladdin once every blue moon, it's going to take time for them to dream up those kinds of attractions for the parks. Since Pixar is pumping out films, it's only fitting to create...

I'm happy to be a new FT cast member, but...

By the way, Tigggrl, I reserved a trailer today for a lot less than renting a truck/car trailer. Thanks for the tip - I totally forgot about those trailers!

And that's why I'm so grateful that I'm still single with no spouse or kids to worry about... I respect your opinions and expressions about Disney, though. Thanks for your input.

I'm happy to be a new FT cast member, but...

Well, I'm not that naive. Anything can go wrong anywhere, at any company. I lived through a nightmare working for a property management company for a year and 5 months, and since I've done the CP already, I have a good idea of what to expect. Still, I've never been happier than when I worked...

I'm happy to be a new FT cast member, but...

Wow! I'm counting my blessings now! I have a pretty good ballpark figure of how much gas is going to be since I went in March to work for a week. Plus, my dad had to go to Tallahassee this week to visit my stepsister, so I'll talk with him and make a gas estimate when he gets back. Did you...

I'm happy to be a new FT cast member, but...

...with Disney being a Fortune 500 company, I don't understand why don't they offer relocation assistance! Coming from Texas, moving companies have quoted me $1,000 or more just for me to move there. Even with gas prices being so high these days, I'm thinking that I'll have to cut my...
