Big surprise before school starts. My daughter & I will be there 8/21-8/26 from Akron, Ohio...but she doesn't know yet! We're staying at POFQ.

January is great! We've gone a couple of times and had pretty good weather (60's-70's) but it can get cold at night. The only time we ran into crowds was right before the marathon. I would check the dates for when they're running, otherwise it's great. Have fun!

Let's just say "a lot" I have to say it was, by far, my most profitable avoidance behavior.

Swan We stayed the first week of Jan. and really liked it. We didn't have any long waits for busses or boats. We took Quicksilver to and from the airport too, great service. The restaurants are a bit expensive, but that's the only negative we saw. Our room had a balcony, 2 queen beds, was clean...

Winning the trip Yes, I won the trip playing the pinball challenge! The contest ran last summer, ended Oct. 1, I had the high score and got to go to WDW! I'm still experiencing back to real world blues.

Since it's a beautiful day in Akron, Ohio (37 and raining), I'll attempt part of my trip report. The weather in Orlando was in the 70's and 80's while we were there. This trip was a surprise made possible by winning the WDWMAGIC pinball challenge, we weren't planning our next trip til next year...

Jan. 4-7 I think the WDW Marathon is Jan. 4-7. We were there last year and there was a big influx of people for that weekend. Otherwise January is our favorite time, pretty slow.
