I definitely think that this refurb didn't go as good as the Haunted Mansion one. From what I've seen, it's a shamble of its former self.

But there are talks that It'll be moving inside to the theater... But seriously, they need something better for it.

Yah, I know it's on a track, but if that guy said Small World was off track, then wouldn't Pirates be? I was just adding to his thoughts, not necessarily agreeing with him.

Cuz anything that has a fast or speed element to it, isn't a dark ride.

Pirates would also be off track.

Yer, but it also isn't a dark ride. It's a drop tower with dark ride effects.

Disney has created MANY classic dark rides... But here's the question. Does a dark ride have to have a track? This is an ongoing debate on another forum, & I'd like the opinion of the WDW Magic experts.

Well an Omnimover is a variation of the dark ride. Haunted Mansion is a omnimover, & it's often called one of the greatest dark rides of all times. So if you don't class a boat ride as a dark ride, that'd mean Pirates isn't a dark ride? I can assure you it is! :hammer:

Oh definately Animal Kingdom... I don't like the atmosphere there, & there isn't nearly enough to do!

OK guys... Anything that goes fast, I don't think would be considered as a dark ride. Test Track, Big Thunder, Space Mountain, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, & Revenge of the Mummy are NOT dark rides. They're all roller coasters (minus Test Track). And even though some may contain some dark ride...
