We've stayed at Fort Wilderness the last three trips. Love that place! Never stayed in the cabins, we have a motohome, so I don't know anything about them. I do know that you will love Fort Wilderness. It doesn't seem as hectic as the other resorts. It's peaceful, quiet (most of the time)...

We always go in June or July. Yes, it's hot, but we're from Georgia and are used to doing things when it's so hot you think you're going to melt. Although I've done the go in the morning and stay til it closes thing, I prefer to take an afternoon break and wait for it to cool down.
