    end of march trip question

confused on spring break and easter (same time frame?) Is spring break usually at the same time as easter for most schools/colleges? It's been so long that I don't remember, and with easter in the middle of april this year, I was hoping if the two coincided, that the end of march would be...

    end of march trip question

Thanks, that was a really helpful post of your personal experiences at that time. I am now considering going at the end of april instead, since that won't be peak hotel cost time and it should be less crowded than the end of march/spring break time/near to easter time. rjf

I just got the go-ahead to plan another trip, and with AP discounts out now for march/april, i need some help. I want to avoid the big spring break and easter crowds. Would the last week of march/early april be far enough away from spring break/easter crowds? i'm especially curious about...

What Resort, for 4 and a newborn?

OOPS, oh yeah, you're right, my mistake. :hammer: Obviously, I don't travel via this method often. :brick: sorry to OP for misinformation, i'd edit my post, but it would make nemo14's post seem irregular...:hammer: The point i was trying to make was that it is easier to travel with stroller...

What Resort, for 4 and a newborn?

deluxe with monorail We've found that with our young kids, the easiest way to travel was by monorail. This saves having to get to the car, then the parking lot, then the tramcar, then the monorail or boat just to go to MK, and then do it all over again in reverse to go back to the hotel...

    Eating Cheap

don't drink the $2 water i know it's not 'eating', but bring your own water, bottled water. cheaper and healthier...or you can always ask for water too, tap water is free, but we always bring our own small bottles so that we don't have to hunt down a restaurant/counter service spot to take the...

Suggestions for entertainment for a 2 1/2 year old girl ...

you can't go wrong no matter where you pick All of the character breakfasts will be fun for her. The more popular ones are chef mickey's and cinderella's royal table, and she would certainly love these, as our 2.5 y.o. enjoyed it too last year. Our young one also enjoyed the playhouse disney...

    Just a few questions

Narcoosees at Grand Floridian is great, and time it for the start of fireworks and you can watch them from your table, or outside of the restaurant there is a wraparound deck over the lagoon.

    Advice on character dining

make sure you do a char. meal with your son, you'll never forget it. All of the aforementioned locations are great and we have done all of them. Chef mickey is just a quick monorail away from MK, or a simple drive, but very loud. Beach club's character breakfast is one of our favorites...

ToT strange thing happened to me...

I liked the bar better than the belt, as it removed that tight security and added to the TERROR! I think a poll is in order: which is better, belt or bar?:D

Just so it's not an unsubstantiated rumor claim... I found out where i heard this soft opening info: it was on a great podcast by Ricky Brigante, called Inside the Magic Podcast, episode 31, about 4 minutes into the podcast Ricky mentions this EE info on soft opening rumor.

that's exactly what i was wondering too, mr. nonacho. I suspect this means that it is most likely monitored via seat belt slack/tension sensor or video camera, or both? Or maybe seat bottom sensor...I just realized i'm back wondering right where i started from:eek: :veryconfu thanks for...

ToT strange thing happened to me...

I suspect you're right, Montu. I was surprised by the whole situation, and sitting atop the elevator shaft, late at night, in the pitch black is scary. It was scarier being lowered down slowly, than it is being dropped down fast! Assuming it is a belt that was really loose, I wonder how...
