Boma: Worth it if not staying at AKL?

Yes. But, the wait staff was indifferent at best -- it was hard to come by a beverage! Additionally, the first time we were there we got there before the opening with an ADR at open and waited a long time with no beeper beeping...After everyone who got there after us was ushered in (about half...

Boma: Worth it if not staying at AKL?

Depends -- I like Boma breakfast, but have been to dinner twice now and did not enjoy it either time. Terrible service both times, and the food was not well prepared (hot dishes were served cold, "roasted" vegetables weren't cooked all the way through, etc.). I know some people love their...

    Snakes

I saw a big black snake in front of AK...no worries, though, it was just as eager to get as far away from humans as the cast members were to escort it away from humans.

taking pictures at night of parades

Absolutely agree. Flashes are over-rated. I got a great picture of Illuminations by leaving the flash off...and that was with a $4 disposable camera. The darks, however, do turn out really dark, but overall the colors are much better.

    Toy Guns in Parks

All I know is that it is extremely disturbing to see a boy on a balcony at AKL with an angry expression on his face pointing a realistic toy gun, bought on Disney property, at the animals. It's just not Disnical. Yes, people kill people, but that doesn't make guns "right."

    Question about the College Program

http://www.wdwcollegeprogram.com/sap/its/mimes/zh_wdwcp/html_home/index-ie.html That should cover most of your questions. As for credit, I believe your school decides whether or not it will give you credit.

what creppy, small, little animals or bugs you always run into?

Nope! But I've never seen that lady at Disney World...I'd remember a beautiful face like that. :dazzle:

what creppy, small, little animals or bugs you always run into?

Fully agreed. And, nice picture. Is that kid really tall or is that donkey really tiny? On the animals of Walt Disney World website, it lists bobcats. Anyone ever seen one in the area? Or maybe just thought that they were large feral cats  ?!?

what creppy, small, little animals or bugs you always run into?

PETA? Where? :lookaroun I'm very much not a PETA person. Dude, I think we're misunderstanding each other. I personally don't care whether or not you respect me -- I just thought your posts were disrespectful in general and patently aimed at offending, which I find annoying. I don't mean...

what creppy, small, little animals or bugs you always run into?

Way to lighten up the mood...Can tell you went to comedy school  . Just an etiquette note: It's rude to try to harass vegetarians by bringing up gross things that people do to animals. Vegetarians are the only group of people who take this extreme amount of harassment. We don't...

what creppy, small, little animals or bugs you always run into?

Saw an armadillo the first time we went to WDW as the plane was landing. I was 5. It was thrilling. Also, of course, birds, bugs, lizards, squirrels, etc. I can't believe people haven't mentioned the snails! They're all over at night at Coronado Springs. I can be found moving them to...

The ultimate resolution to relieving conjestion in the Magic Kingdom after Wishes!!!!

Wow. That's actually a really good idea. There's nothing worse than having someone repeatedly ram a stroller onto your heals. Someone did that to me even when I was a kid!

What would you have done? (tour groups)

I wasn't worried about your statement -- since they made the "rude American" comment, it was definitely relevant to mention that they weren't American (otherwise it would be confusing). Just wanted to stop the anti-everyone but us replies before they started. It happens all too often where an...

What would you have done? (tour groups)

I sense this is going to turn into another my-culture-is-better-than-your-culture thread. Let's please stop that before it starts (after all, there've been plenty of threads dedicated to that). It was rude of them to refer to "rude Americans," and I think you handled that situation well...I...

How'd going to the parks solo treat you? I bet it was easier to find a good viewing area for the fireworks!
